Triggerfinger - Colossus

The Antwerp, Belgium based trio TRIGGERFINGER (Ruben Block, vocals & guitar; Paul Van Bruystegem, bass; Mario Goossens, drums) have built a solid reputation across Europe, the US and Canada as one of the hardest-driving and sharpest dressing bands around. After four studio albums and the massive touring that came with it, it was time for a change. While writing the new album "Colossus", TRIGGERFINGER wanted to add a few new flavors to the mix. "Acoustic instruments, samples, keyboards, percussion, two bass guitars: as long as they served the song, we were happy.", states vocalist Ruben Block.

So if you like your rock down and dirty, played by impeccably dressed Belgian gentlemen, then "Colossus" is right up your alley.

Indeed, the Antwerp, Belgium based trio (Ruben Block, vocals & guitar; Paul Van Bruystegem, bass; Mario Goossens, drums) have built a solid reputation across Europe, the US and Canada as one of the hardest-driving and sharpest dressing bands around. With their self-titled debut album (2004), What Grabs Ya (2008), All This Dancing Around (2010) and By Absence of the Sun (2014) they've become a mainstay on the rock scene (the last two going platinum and gold, respectively). Their impromptu cover of the Lykke Li song I Follow Rivers became a major hit across Europe in 2012, and they were invited to open for THE ROLLING STONES in 2013 and 2014.
The album "Colossus", which includes the strutting new single Flesh Tight, offers killer guitar riffs, breezy melodies, festive glam rock and mind-bending froomisms, making the album a wild ride on a merry-go-round in Disneyland after dark. Oh, and one more thing. Not one of the ten songs featured on "Colossus" is a cover. It is covered in special sauce, though.

Today's tune "Colossus" is the title tune taken from the brand new album by TRIGGERFINGER, enjoy! The Video is Directed, Animated, Edited by MOUNT EMULT

Annihilator – Twisted Lobotomy

Canadian Heavy/Thrash Metal band ANNIHILATOR will release their sixteenth studio album, "For The Demented", on November 3. The follow-up to 2015's "Suicide Society" will be available in a limited-edition digipack with lenticular cover, a jewel-case CD, a twelve-inch, 180-gram colored vinyl in gatefold and digital download.

This will be the band's first studio album with bassist Rich Hinks, who co-produced and co-engineered the album, and drummer Fabio Alessandrini.

Over a year after the release of Suicide Society (2015), ANNIHILATOR began working on a follow-up album. Founding member and guitarist Jeff Waters told Metal Wani in December 2016,

"On the next one, the changes I'm gonna make… I only said two things. I've got all these people telling me, 'You've gotta go back to this album,' or that album, or that album, or that album. 'You've gotta do this,' 'You've gotta do that.' So what I do is I block it out. But I've decided that I'm going to not worry about catchy, commercial choruses — 'commercial,' as in you remember it, where you intentionally make that chorus the most important part of the song and you want people to remember that one every time. That kind of is the opposite of what I used to do in the earlier days. In the earlier days, I would go, 'I don't care about the chorus being the main part; I want the whole song to be cool.' So therefore the choruses were not as commercial or catchy. And they remained heavy back then; the choruses would end up being heavy. Whereas on my "Suicide Society" record I just did, you could have a heavy song, but then you hit the chorus and you go, 'Woah, that's pretty mainstream stuff in the choruses.' And the other thing was, since I'm such a fan of so many bands, I let myself go a little bit on the last album with being too blatantly obvious with my influences and my musical loves as a fan. So you really heard a song that had a lot of the "Master of Puppets" era of music from METALLICA, and you really heard a MEGADETH song on there, and you really heard in my vocals some Hetfield and Mustaine-isms. And I think that was great, as a fan, to get it out, but I think I need to do more of my own thing on the next record."

In February 2017, Waters said that the sixteenth ANNIHILATOR studio album was being co-produced and co-engineered by bassist Rich Hinks, making it the "first time I've actually had somebody else in the studio since 1990 (Never, Neverland) working with me on stuff."

On September 12, 2017, it was announced that the album, now titled "For the Demented", will be released on November 3; more details on the album, including track listing and artwork, and the music video for "Twisted Lobotomy" were released on the same day. In support of "For the Demented", ANNIHILATOR (along with DEATH ANGEL) will open for TESTAMENT on the European Brotherhood of the Snake tour, which will take place in November and December 2017.

Since 1989, ANNIHILATOR have not stopped putting out records and touring the world. Despite the ever-changing climate of the metal world (and releasing a series of "different" metal records with various lineups along the way), Waters and company have consistently delivered strong albums since the band's debut, "Alice In Hell". Then there was 1990's best-selling "Never, Neverland", 1995's "King Of The Kill", "Schizo Deluxe" in 2005 and many other critically acclaimed releases up until "Suicide Society". The "under-the-radar" influence of this band, and Waters, has been felt throughout the entire realm of the metal world by a ton of well-known musicians and bands; that influence even stretching into the hard rock and instrumentalist genre.
Waters, in his usual humble manner, offers this in response: "ANNIHILATOR's music has been influenced by a good hundred of my favorite bands and musicians; you can hear their contributions to what I have been doing all throughout ANNIHILATOR's catalog. It's a bonus and an honor when bands and musicians I love mention that I had something to do with their playing or songs!"

ANNIHILATOR is:

Jeff Waters (vocals, guitar)
Fabio Alessandrini (drums)
Rich Hinks (bass)
Aaron Homma (guitar)

Todays tune "Twisted Lobotomy" is the first tune taken from the upcoming album "For The Demented" to be released in November, enjoy!

Marilyn Manson - We Know Where You Fucking Live

Marilyn Manson just released the music video for his caps-lock-on-cruise-control single "WE KNOW WHERE YOU FUCKING LIVE" taken from his upcoming tenth studio album "Heaven Upside Down". It is set to be released on October 6, 2017 by Loma Vista Recordings and Caroline International. "We Know Where You Fucking Live" was released as the album's lead single on September 11, 2017, with "Kill4Me" following on September 20.

”Like Manson’s other visual works, “We Know Where You Fucking Live” is typical family-friendly fare, starring skintight latex-donning nuns with ammunition who, alongside Manson, turn a family’s copacetic suburban night into chaos.

"We Know Where You Fucking Live" is an industrial rock song. It is reminiscent of material released by the band in the late '90s, and features subdued, predominantly electronic verses coupled with a chorus consisting of loud, aggressive guitar riffs and the eponymous vocalist's screamed vocals. Nerdist Industries called the song "fiercely rocking and in-your-face". Manson said that he was "astonished that a record label put the song out as the first single", due to its lyrical content, which reference political corruption, drone warfare and global surveillance. The track was debuted live during the first date of the Heaven Upside Down Tour, which occurred on July 20 in Budapest

The music video for the song was directed by Bill Yukich and Perou, and was posted onto YouTube on September 15. The clip opens with a parental advisory warning for graphic violence and sexual content, and begins with a quintet of nuns walking down a suburban street during a solar eclipse. The nuns tear off their habits, revealing them to be wearing latex undergarments and leather dominatrix gear, and carrying various handguns, assault rifles and rocket launchers. The group then encounters Manson and, after an initial standoff, proceed to blow up a van. The group then invades the home of a family and subjects the husband and wife to a violent sexual assault. Sydney Gore of The Fader has hypothesized that the video is a metaphor for religious extremism.

Cannibal Corpse - Code of the Slashers

"Code Of The Slashers", the brand new video from Florida-based death metallers CANNIBAL CORPSE, taken from the upcoming album "Red Before Black", which will be released on November 3. The clip was directed by Zev Deans, who previously worked on BEHEMOTH's "Messe Noire", GHOST's "Square Hammer" and PORTAL's "Curtain" videos.

That CANNIBAL CORPSE have carved out a career spanning almost three decades is testament to their work ethic, innovative songwriting, passion and devotion to extreme music — though it still remains an astounding feat to the members, as Webster makes humbly clear.

CANNIBAL CORPSE is an American death metal band from Buffalo, New York. Formed in December 1988, the band has released thirteen studio albums, two box sets, four video albums, and two live albums. The band has had little radio or television exposure throughout its career, although a cult following began to build after the release of the 1991 album Butchered at Birth and 1992 album Tomb of the Mutilated. As of 2015, they had achieved worldwide sales of two million units for combined sales of all their albums, making them the top-selling death metal band of all time.

This November, CANNIBAL CORPSE will kick off a USA tour in support of the upcoming disc. Support on the trek will come from POWER TRIP and GATECREEPER, see the dates below.

Today's tune "Code of the Slashers" from the album "Red Before Black".

Director Zev Deans comments: "After crawling through abandoned buildings, crashing our van into a tree in the middle of a scene, witnessing a real stabbing and drenching ourselves in fake blood in a derelict park at 5am, we can safely say this was a proper introduction to the slasher genre for Panorama Programming. We brought a slab of fresh meat back from a rotting metropolis, and we're serving it to you raw. Come and get it."

Foo Fighters - Concrete and Gold

Monday, new week, time to introduce "Record Of The Week"

"Concrete and Gold", FOO FIGHTERS ninth studio album, released on September 15, 2017.

"Concrete and Gold" is FOOs most balanced record yet. It's a very well crafted album, both musically and emotionally, it's full of playfulness and seriousness. It's pretty easy to sink in to and very fun to listen to. The production is made by the pop merchant Greg Kurstin (ADELE, BECK, KELLY CLARKSON, SIA, PINK) adds a fresh and big atmosphere to the album without distorting the classic FOO sound, just a facelift.

"Concrete and Gold" is a 11 tunes long and clocks in to 48 minutes. Opens up softly with soulish tune "T-Shirt", a short love song before it takes it's next step to the punkish "Run", were the FOOs kick in your teeth, another punk bomber is "La Dee Da". The rocker "Make It Right" with Justin Timberlake's on backing vocals, he sings great in a already magic rocker. Acoustic guitars begins the half pace soul beauty "Dirty Water". On of the highlight is "The Sky Is a Neighborhood" a real stadium anthem. "There ain’t no superheroes now" sings Grohl in the BEATLES like "Happy Ever After (Zero Hour)", Jessy Greene plays some violin here. Another BEATLES like tune is "Sunday Rain", it even has Paul McCartney playing drums on it. "The Line" is great car rocker. The album closes up with the title tune, a PINK FLOYD alike beast.

Sum: They did it again!

Today's tune "The Sky Is A Neighborhood" is taken from "Concrete and Gold", enjoy!

Styx - Renegade

Sunday, time for a classic.

"Renegade" is a 1979 hit song recorded by the American rock band STYX. It was on their Pieces of Eight album. It reached #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the spring of 1979.

The song is a first-person narrative of an outlaw, captured for a bounty, who recognizes that he is about to be executed for his criminal activities. The execution will be by hanging, as the outlaw laments, "Hangman is coming down from the gallows and I don't have very long."

Some pressings of the single were made with translucent, red vinyl. Years after its release it remains a staple on classic rock radio playlists, and is usually the final song STYX plays at its concerts.

When performed live from 1978 to 1983, drummer John Panozzo increased the tempo of the drum pattern during the guitar solo sections. Also, the track would serve as the drum solo spot for Panozzo during that time frame.

Although songwriter Tommy Shaw and fellow Styx guitarist James Young usually played lead guitar on their own compositions, Shaw asked Young if he could take the solo on "Renegade". Young agreed, and later returned the favor by allowing Shaw to play lead on his "Half-Penny, Two-Penny" on the Paradise Theatre album.

STYX /ˈstɪks/ is an American rock band from Chicago that formed in 1972 and became famous for its albums released in the late 1970s and early 1980s. They are best known for melding the style of pop rock and hard rock with the power of a hard-rock guitar balanced with acoustic guitar, synthesizers mixed with acoustic piano, upbeat tracks with power ballads, and incorporating elements of international musical theatre.

STYX is best known for the hit songs "Lady", "Come Sail Away", "Babe", "The Best of Times", "Too Much Time on My Hands" and "Mr. Roboto". Other major hits include "Show Me the Way", "Don't Let It End", and "Renegade". Styx has had 4 consecutive albums certified multi-platinum by the RIAA as well as 16 top 40 singles in the US, 8 of which hit the top 10.

Enjoy today's tune!

Revolution Saints - I Wouldn't Change A Thing

REVOLUTION SAINTS, the band featuring Deen Castronovo (JOURNEY, BAD ENGLISH), Doug Aldrich (THE DEAD DAISIES, WHITESNAKE, DIO), and Jack Blades (NIGHT RANGER, DAMN YANKEES), will release its second album, "Light In The Dark", on October 13 via Frontiers Music Srl.

"Light In The Dark" will be available on CD, CD/DVD deluxe edition (includes live bonus tracks on the CD and on the DVD, footage from the band's first-ever live performance captured at Frontiers Rock Festival in Milan this past April, a "making-of" mini-documentary, and music videos for "Light In The Dark" and "I Wouldn't Change A Thing"), vinyl, and as a special limited-edition box set (includes the deluxe edition CD/DVD, 180-gram vinyl, T-shirt [size L], poster, lithograph and sticker).

For "Light In The Dark", REVOLUTION SAINTS once again teamed up with producer/songwriter Alessandro Del Vecchio (HARDLINE, JORN), who was also behind the boards for the band's debut album. Most of "Light In The Dark" was recorded at Del Vecchio's studios in Somma Lombardo, Italy, with additional recording taking place at Blades's studio in Washington, Aldrich's CasaDala studio in Los Angeles, and other countries all over the world while Aldrich was on tour with THE DEAD DAISIES.

The record builds off the classic melodic rock style of the debut, but fans should prepare for a somehow even more inspired set and a few (pleasant) surprises. Inspiring, uplifting, emotionally powerful, and thoughtful, this album WILL be the soundtrack to many a moment in your life.

Today's tune "I Wouldn't Change A Thing" is taken from the upcoming second album Release Date: 13-10-2017. The tune is soft one, more like an old school ballad, well check it out.

H.E.A.T. - Eye Of The Storm

The Swedish melodic hard rock group  H.E.A.T. will release "Into The Great Unknown" today.

H.E.A.T. was formed in Upplands Väsby in 2007, when the prior bands DREAM and TRADING FATE merged into H.E.A.T.

After one and a half years of intense songwriting, with guitarist Dave Dalone (aka Sky Davis) back in the mix, the band went on a questionable trip to record an album in Thailand, once again with Swedish Grammy award-winning producer Tobias Lindell. With 10 top songs in their cannon, H.E.A.T entered the heavenly Karma Sound studios in the outskirts of Bangkok to record what would become the fifth studio album. Once again the band continue the musical landscape with an innovative, highly explosive and refreshing melodic rock sound and an unforgettable collection of fantastic new songs.

"Into The Great Unknown" is the follow-up to 2014’s critically acclaimed "Tearing Down The Walls". 2012’s successful "Address The Nation" album was praised worldwide as one of the best albums of the year, and consolidated the H.E.A.T’s growing reputation as the new leading band in hard edged melodic rock.

In 2009, H.E.A.T had a huge hit in Scandinavia with the song "1000 Miles". That same year the band’s second album "Freedom Rock" was nominated as one of the Top 50 albums in 2010 by Classic Rock magazine UK. Since then, they’ve toured all over the world, blowing audiences away with their outstanding live concerts.

In a time when artists like FOREINGER, JOURNEY and WHITESNAKE are enjoying a resurgence, teenagers are re-discovering the melodic approach to hard rock. The kids are suddenly wearing their classic rock band logos on t-shirts. H.E.A.T is the beacon of light that many say will carry this tradition into the future. They’re young, ambitious and full of energy and ideas.

H.E.A.T don’t hide their love for their classic rock heroes, but don’t try to copy it, either. They just do it and they want to be the best at it. And they are one of the best - drawing both young and old to their mesmerising, freshly sounding, energetic classic rock and bombastic melodies.

The group released their latest album, Tearing Down the Walls, in April 2014 via earMUSIC. Track "A Shot At Redemption" was released as the lead single. Headed by frontman Erik Grönwall, the band's heavy sound is strongly influenced by past melodic rock groups such as WHITESNAKE, with H.E.A.T having supported musical acts such as SCORPIONS.

Two days ago and prior the release of their new studio album, H.E.A.T premieres the official music video for their brand new single “Eye Of The Storm” today.

Erik Grönwall tells about the tune: “In a hurricane there is a treacherous place, after the initial big wind… as the centre of the storm passes over where it is seemingly calm and still and safe. This is always temporary and what happens next is the strongest and most dangerous part of the storm. That is often the same scenario in relationships. That calm in the “Eye Of The Storm” tricks people into taking their breaths and letting down the guard. Then the winds of emotion hit again and even harder..”

The band will support the release by a UK and European tour in November 2017, see the dates below.

Today's tune "Eye Of The Storm" is the second single from the brand new album "Into The Great Unknown", enjoy!

Telepathy - Echo of Souls

TELEPATHY the instrumental titans from Colchester, UK.

TELEPATHY released their second album "Tempest" earlier this year. The album is an interesting instrumental journey true the musical landscape that TELEPATHY serves on a silver plate. The music is progressive and sludgy post-metal.

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at London’s Orgone Studios by lauded producer /engineer Jaime Gomez Arellano (GHOST, OPETH, PARADISE LOST, ALTAR OF PLAGUES, CATHEDRAL), "Tempest follows in the footsteps of TELEPATHYs critically acclaimed 2014 debut "12 Areas" and is very much a concept record. "Tempest" depicts the harrowing journey of a person beset with grief and faced with total isolation after awaking from a great flood. The album guides the listener on a journey through awakening, desolation and finally acceptance.

Further showcasing the band’s no-holds-barred approach to songwriting, "Tempest" fuses elements of post-metal, sludge, doom and black metal with unorthodox and complex song structures, creating a cohesive and cathartic tapestry of unique instrumental metal. The inclusion of tortured vocals on the album’s centerpiece, today's tune "Echo of Souls", shows a band un afraid to travel into uncharted waters, further cementing their reputation as a forward thinking and unique group in today’s experimental metal scene. Where its predecessor "12 Areas" was by intention a chaotic and furious exploration of sound, "Tempest" marks a shift towards a more balanced and open sonic pallette. More dynamic, spacious and refined than before, but with an added emphasis on sonic weight, unbridled heaviness, melody and emotional depth.

TELEPATHY spent the majority of 2016 stunning audiences up and down the UK with their immersive and intense live show, building upon their ever growing following. Highlights included appearances alongside fellow UK metal veterans RAGING SPEEDHORN, OATHBREAKER, American post-metal pioneers and labelmates ROSETTA and most notably an appearance at the prestigious Desertfest in London.

"Tempest" marks a brand new chapter in the band’s career, and with its definitive line-up in place — owing to the addition of new bass player Teddy-James Driscoll — "Tempest" showcases a ruthlessly punishing, heavy and emotionally demanding take on instrumental music.

The 2×LP comes with an etching on side D, download code and on 180 gr vinyl.

Biblical - Mature Themes

BIBLICAL, a bunch of roaring rockers from Toronto, Canada.

A band that was formed during the spring of 2010, BIBLICAL is the roar of mountains splitting and oceans parting. The band’s fierce live show has earned it festival and touring slots with top artists such as EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979, KYUSS, RED FANG, TORCHE and EYEHATEGOD.

Since charges are pending, legal council for all parties decided                                                        to remove images of the alleged assault from their coverage.

Mr. Swayze could not be reached for comment.

In 2011 BIBLICAL released a self-titled EP that delighted rock fans with a blast of tense garage metal, steeped in minor-key twang. POP MATTERS called the release “a grand debut,” while stoner aficionados THE OBELISK praised the band’s sound, noting “BIBLICAL‘s swagger is definitely their own.”

In 2014, the group embarked on a 5-week North American tour with DFA1979 in support of their debut full-length "Monsoon Season". A interesting album indeed, got one of the old singles in draft mode, half written but never published, why...who knows, soon, well hopefully. Lauded by PITCHFORK as a “climactic, Red Sea-parting surge of narcotic guitar noise,” "Monsoon Season" earned critical acclaim from both metal and indie outlets alike. METAL SUCKS pegged the album as “an early contender for year-end-list honors,” while KEXP SEATTLE praised the band as “apocalyptic rock and roll, worthy of the lasting canon.”

September 2017 was the month when BIBLICAL released thier sophomore full-length "The City That Always Sleeps". The product of almost 2 years in the studio, the album is a deep dive into sludgy psych rock that explores spaces, textures and tones beyond the outer limits. Heavy, propulsive and totally hypnotic, "The City That Always Sleeps" is BIBLICAL at its weapons-grade best, leveraging rhythm and dynamics to explosive effect. The album was released September 15th, 2017

And like an old superstition or a venerable jazz standard, familiar constituents bubble up to the surface: something old, something new, something borrowed—and perhaps most important—something blue.

Cool Vinyl Version of "The City That Always Sleeps"

Today's tune "Mature Themes" is the first single from the brand new album "The City That Always Sleeps". Based on the 1997 film 'Go' by Jacob Blackstock. Edited by Nick Sewell. Additional footage courtesy of the Prelinger Archives. Enjoy!

With the Dead - Isolation

Supergroup is such an erroneous term – images of bored playboys pissing on their legacy spring to mind – but the members of WITH THE DEAD have a history of creating criminally good records as long as your arm. They’ve all served hard time in the subterranean worlds of Doom and the heaviest forms of Metal and have now reconvened to surpass previous projects. They’re back – and this time the aim is to maim.

WITH THE DEAD were formed by the founding rhythm section of occultist Doom overloads ELECTRIC WIZARD: guitarist/bassist Tim Bagshaw (also a current member of SERPENTINE PATH) and drummer Mark Greening, a pair once notorious for the sheer brute heaviness of their bowel-shaking sound and early extra-curricular activities that involved excess, injury and low-level criminality (arrests for the theft of a crucifix from a church roof and drunkenly robbing an off-licence to name but two).

Due to various reasons, Greening was dismissed from the group shortly after the album was released. His replacement is former BOLT THROWER skin batterer, Alex Thomes. Joining him is full-time bassist, Leo Smee, formerly of British Doom pioneers CATHEDRAL. Having performed both bass and guitar duties on the album, Bagshaw will now concentrate solely on six-string savagery. Completing the circle is frontman Lee Dorrian, co-founder of CATHEDRAL, former frontman with grindcore legends NAPALM DEATH and owner of Rise Above Records, the UK’s finest independent purveyors of all sounds heavy and underground, whose stable of bands include GHOST, UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS, LUCIFER, BLOOD CEREMONY and WITCHCRAFT. Having been in business since 1988, Rise Above is also one of the most enduring.

So get ready for some apocalyptic, chasm, skull-crushing Doom Metal. Prepare to die.

Today's tune "Isolation" is taken from the forthcoming album, "Love From With the Dead", released worldwide September 22nd 2017. The Video is directed by Marc Morris.

Transport League - Twist & Shout at the Devil

Monday, new week, time to introduce "Record Of The Week"

"Twist & Shout at the Devil" is the latest and seventh album from the Swedish boogie rockers TRANSPORT LEAGUE.

The band, which was formed in 1994 and with now with the seventh release "Twist & Shout at the Devil" they have created an album that shows that the band has grown, a bit beardy and grey haired than usual 😏

The songs feels very elaborate and well-crafted. The album is like an riffy roadtrip with an heavy impact! It got some strong influences from DANZIG and CLUTCH. Like the two predecessors, "Twist & Shout at the Devil" is a collection of tunes with high peaks and less compelling transportation stretches in between. The three longstanding band members Tony Jelencovich, Peter Hunyadi (guitar) and Mattias Starander (drums) recorded the album together with the new bassist Dennis Österdal who has joined the fold to replace Lars Häglund, the latter having had to leave the group due to health problems.

"Twist & Shout at the Devil" with the ambiguous album title which hints at both the BEATLES ("Twist And Shout") and MÖTLEY CRÜE ("Shout At The Devil"). The album opener "Destroy Rock City", with its KISS references ("Detroit Rock City") in terms of its name and its startup riff until it forms to their own creation. There is another tune where the reference is made, "Bad Voltage" which brings to mind LED ZEPPELIN and AC/DC, Marshall amps and Gibson guitars – all of them synonymous with timeless rock´n`roll. The heavy punching "Power To The Sloth", screaming vocals and cool and heavy riffs. "Cannibal Holobeast" is a really cool piece where he screams "This is my sabotage", the tune is also supported by a video clip. "Swine To Shine" is a more lade-back tune, I get a little FOO FIGHTERS feeling in the vocal part until he burst out something else, cool tune. "One Last Way", heavy melodic riffing with almost rapping vocals and screaming angry parts in a very melodic way, could have been a tune from SYSTEM OF A DOWN, I really like this one. "Zulu Zombie Zodiac" is a fast tune, a modern groovy monster to the stand out tune "Dead And Awaken", were spoken word is the main thing along with ruffy and screamo vocals takes it's part along with heavy riffs and marching drums. "Werewolves In The Sink" is a killing duet with Jocke Berg from HARDCORE SUPERSTAR. "Thousand Eyes & One" is a heavy piece where modern FOO FIGHTERS flickers in the chorus, great tune indeed! "Gravestation" flirts with ZAPPA and WHITE ZOMBIE. The album ends with "Winter War", a riffy and ruffy tune and I see myself click on the repeat button. I guess I need to add a Vinyl for order soon!

Roberto Laghi(IN FLAMES, SONIC SYNDICATE, MUSTASCH) is behind the mix of the album. The impressive cover artwork was designed by Axel Widén and presents creatures (werewolf, pig, sloth) from the album’s lyrics – a real eye-catcher which pleasantly sets itself apart from the usual metal standards.

Sum: Hell yeah, you need this!

Today's tune "Cannibal Holobeast" is taken from the "Record Of The Week", enjoy! Lyrics by Tony Jelencovich. Video directed by Joel Nilsson at Maluha Media
