And here we are at the end of this countdown and it's time to present number one. This is the best album of the year according to Tune Of The Day.
"Where Gloom Becomes Sound" is the fifth album by the Swedish metal prides TRIBULATION.
"Where Gloom Becomes Sound" contains ten tunes with forty-eight minutes of playtime that is executed in the best possible way, greatly balanced, darkly atmospheric, and remarkably consistent record.
"Where Gloom Becomes Sound" takes you on a journey unlike any other.
The second place goes to the Atlanta's MASTODON and thier imprressive new album "Hushed And Grim" eightyeight-minutes divded on fifteen tunes gives a overwhelming size but with a grandeur result. "Hushed And Grim" is an epic and very varied release that never loses an ounce of its scintillating power along the way. An album that fits in perfectly during Christmas time.
The third place goes to the London-based five-piece heavy rock band GREEN LUNG, and the album c.
With masterly handed songwriting, I'm very impressed with the end result, and it glads me to see that GREEN LUNG has a bright future ahead. And just like with "Woodland Rites", "Black Harvest" will earn its spots on the best-of lists when it's time to summon up the year.
If there is anything to worship these days then "Black Harvest" could be the best option.
"Future Forecast", takes the fourth place, an album by the Australian Garage Punk Rock and Roll band CIVIC that really do not save on gunpowder. "Future Forecast" is exactly the album you need right now to shake up some things that bother you!
The Melbourne punk ’n’ roll crew AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS grabs the fifth position with their second album, "Comfort To Me".
Full of frustration and energy, almost that she will blow up when she sings today's tune with the lyrics "I just want to get to the country and fucking not be in the city"
"Dom Som Skiner" (Those Who Shines) is the tenth solo album by the Swedish Rock icon Thåström who grabs the sixth position on the top 50 of the Best Albums 2021.
The album is a impressive release from the now 64 old talented artist which matures like a vintage wine. A highly recomended album.
On the seventh position, we find the American alternative metal band CHEVELLE with the ninth studio album "Niratias" (an acronym of "Nothing Is Real And This Is A Simulation"). This is one hell of a great heavy rock album and very impressive release from a band with a course of their over 25 year career, and they are great as ever.
The amazing Artwork for the album is by Boris Vallejo, also known for designing the posters used for films like Knightriders and National Lampoon's Vacation.
Today's tune "Self Destructor" is taken from "Niratias", enjoy!
The Banjo-attacking dark folk troubadour AMIGO THE DEVIL takes the eighth place on the best albums 2021.

The Singer-songwriter’s sophomore album "Born Against" is a trip inside his eccentric musical mind where he once again pushes the boundaries of traditional folk, Americana and country music to their limits. Tom Waits, Serial Killers and Bingo, all figures into this album and shows that this masterclass in storytelling is one of the great albums of 2021.
Today's tune "Quiet As A Rat" taken from the album ”Born Against”, enjoy!

40 ROYAL BLOOD - ”Typhoons”
A desert rock disco album you need to get for the summer!.
This is an excellent album, it's dirty, heavy, doomy, and punky! Really well-made album. Give it a spin and I promise you! Once it spins for you, it will drag you down to its chaotic journey!
The album is full of Zappa like sounds, plops and drops, squared-off synths, sneaky guitar that makes tis a really fun listen. That V**AGRA BOYS is here to stay is clear, their punkish attitude will capture many new fans over time. I like this, so will you.
