Bring Me The Horizon - DiE4u

The Britts BRING ME THE HORIZON are back with another new song as part of their "Post Human EP" series, this time it's a bloody and hard-hitting, electronic-popish rock trasher called "Die4u," and it's accompanying video is just downright brutal, see it below.

“‘Die4u’ is a song about toxic obsessions, vices and things you can’t kick. I think a lot of people went through very similar struggles while in lockdown, coming face to face with yourself and seeing who you really are and what’s important," frontman Oli Sykes described of the song.

"The song is a triumphant and emotional one for me because it was a time of realization to kick the things that were no good, and to take the choice in bettering myself. It also connects to a deeper theme about us as a society, and how we need to look at the way we treat ourselves, each other as well as the world."

BRING ME THE HORIZON is on a tour atm.

Bring Me The Horizon - Wonderful Life

Becoming one of the world’s most successful rock bands was never in the prophecy for BRING ME THE HORIZON. Yet here they are, mostly thanks to themselves and their ambition to carve their own faith no matter what. And Sheffield’s own BRING ME THE HORIZON has never walked the path of least resistance. Starting out as a deathcore band, switching to metalcore before finally creating their own space somewhere in between heavy metal and pop. The music remained crushingly heavy and brutally effective, but also began to incorporate elements of keyboards and odd electronic twists. The vocals evolved as well. Lead singer Oli Sykes started experimenting with a variety of expression to channel his inner turmoil. But whether Sykes screams, sings, growls or whispers it remains therapeutic and relatable.

With their grand, eclectic album "That’s The Spirit" (2015) BRING ME THE HORIZON demanded to be seen in a new light and cemented their position as a gateway band to heavy music. The album received critical acclaim and was rightfully dubbed “future-proof rock”. After a cryptic campaign, signs reading “do you wanna join my cult?”, BRING ME THE HORIZON returned earlier this year with immediate fan-favorite MANTRA which was followed by the bluesy wonderful filth, featuring Dani Filth from CRADLE OF FILTH, both from their coming sixth studio album "amo" that also includes a collaboration with Grimes. This summer, BRING ME THE HORIZON will bring their tight, loud, well-oiled rock machine to Lollapalooza!

BRING ME THE HORIZON will perform at Park Stage Sat 6/29, 8:30pm-9:30pm

Today's tune "Wonderful Life" taken from the new album "aмo". "Wonderful Life" featuring CRADLE OF FILTH vocalist Dani Filth. Produced by the band's vocalist Oliver Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish, the track was released as the second single from the album on 21 October 2018.

Bring Me The Horizon - Don't Go

"There Is a Hell, Believe Me, I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret", is the third studio album by the British rock band BRING ME THE HORIZON. It was released on 4 October 2010 by Visible Noise. The album was produced by Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrick Udd at IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden, with additional work at Sunset Lodge Studios in Los Angeles, California.

From the album we pick one of the darkest tunes "Don't Go", a song that is based on a 17-year old boy (Terry Hurst) was murdered by 3 friends on a overnight camping trip. Terry was bullied, had learning difficulties, and was orphan as well as his brothers. The three "friends" tricked him. Took him to a forest. They knew he was defenceless. Put a plastic bad around his head. Repeatedly stabbed him 60+ times with 5 ft. scythes. Stomped on him. Let him there to rot. No one knew why they did it. It says that one of the murderers was Ollie's (BMTH lead singer) cousin.

So check it out!

Bring Me The Horizon - True Friends

"True Friends" is a song by British rock band BRING ME THE HORIZON. It was released as the third single from the band's fifth studio album "That's the Spirit". Musically a rock song, it has been more specifically described as post-hardcore and emo. It was released on 25 August 2015 on the bands official Vevo account.

"That's The Spirit" marks a surprising change in BRING ME THE HORIZON's sound and Oliver Sykes told The Pulse Of Radio how it came about. "Really, we were wrapping up 'Sempiternal', and we just felt like we'd progressed a lot just in that short space of time since releasing 'Sempiternal' and touring it, so, yeah, I guess when we finished the campaign, we just really felt like we had a big opportunity. Like, 'Sempiternal' really got us out to the public a lot more than the previous record and stuff, and it felt like people were waiting to see what we did next and people were really hungry for it, you know what I mean? So we just wanted to take the opportunity and really smash it out of the park, I guess."

"That's The Spirit" not only marks a change in the band's sound but also has a concept behind it.

Sykes explained recently: "It's a celebration of depression. A way of making light of it. That's the spirit — it's quite a depressing phrase when you think about it — the sort of thing you only ever use when you know there's no positive answer to the situation."

BRING ME THE HORIZON recently launched a North American headlining tour that stops in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday (October 20) and continues in Europe, see the dates below. On Saturday the 14th they will visit Arenan and Stockholm here in Sweden.

Today's tune "True Friends" is taken from That's The Spirit. The official music video, dubbed as a "short film", was uploaded to the band's Vevo on November 5, 2015. It was directed by Oliver Sykes and featured British actor Steve Oram ("Sightseers", "Bad Education", "The World's End"). The Music Video was produced by 12 Inch Media.

Raised Fist - Flow

Northern Swedens pride RAISED FIST have released a new album "From The North".

With only 5 albums released, critics and fans all over the world have firmly cemented RAISED FIST as one of the premier hardcore bands in the world. They started the band 1993 in the small cold northern city of Luleå Sweden. RAISED FIST has always chosen their own path up the ladder. They have done so with total integrity and 100% honesty. Raised Fist had the talent, the product and the confidence to deliver it!

With tours all over the world the band have conquered territories one at the time. Their powerful, energetic live performances are hard to find anywhere else.

RAISED FIST have proven that they are fantastic songwriters as well as musicians. Together with their long time friend, and producer, Daniel Bergstrand the band have developed a unique sound.

RAISED FIST is the band other influental bands follow and fans just love! Be sure not to never ever miss out on a chance to catch this band live! Their performances are limited and just shockingly powerful. Dont fucking blink!

RAISED FIST about the new record:

Yesterday it was Europe (US today)

We've put blood, sweat and tears into writing, producing and recording this album.

Just hammering down 3.600 nails into a board, every single one by hand, to make the album artwork, should give you an indication of our ambition with this album.

Epitaph have worked their asses off, giving this at first glance, noncommercial product a real priority. They have made sure that this album will get the recognition it deserves. A constant flow of hugs and kisses going out in the Epitaph-direction.

Of course our families, with a couple of brand new family members, have struggled with us being away. And that always hurts the most. Without the support from them, this could not be happening right now. Ceaseless love to all of you!

This album is first and foremost something we wrote for ourselves. A selfish way of expressing feelings and letting our creativity flow, the way we have done it for the last 20 years, more than half of our lives. But we were already satisfied in April 2014 when we finished the last second of production. Now it’s all yours.

We totally respect your call to either download, stream it, or whatever in order to get your hands on From The North. If you sincerely want to support the actual “album production”, then buy it. Either by following the link below, or directly from us when we pass by on tour. Either way, this beat always on repeat!

Thank you for your everlasting support! Keep enjoying life, and hope to see you all soon!
RAISED FIST

Josse, Alle, Daniel, Matte, Jimmy

RAISED FIST are:

Alexander "Alle" Hagman (Vocals)
Andreas "Josse" Johansson (Bass)
Jimmy Tikkanen (Guitar)
Daniel Holmgren (Guitar)
Matte Modin (Drums)

The new album sounds amazing at first site, I will get back with more impressions later on. They are a band that does things on their own terms and that does not compromise with their ideals. They hailed by legends SICK OF IT ALL and the newer abilities BRING ME THE HORIZON and I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN. Respect for their music and integrity shines through. This is the band's sixth album - which fittingly enough has been given the title "From The North". As the first single released and todays tune "Flow" and as usual, these are of heavy hardcore with punk influences. The album is available NOW! Released on January 19th, 2015!

Bring Me The Horizon - Drown

Fronted by a tattooed clothing designer and influenced by death metal, grindcore, and emo, Bring Me the Horizon aren't the average deathcore band. The group was formed in 2004 from the ashes of several Sheffield-based outfits, with the 2003 Disney film Pirates of the Caribbean serving as the inspiration for the band's name. Singer Oliver Sykes, guitarists Lee Malia and Curtis Ward, bassist Matt Kean, and drummer Matt Nicholls initially established their own label, Thirty Days of Night, to release their debut EP, 2005's This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For. Upon signing to the higher-profile label Visible Noise (whose roster also included Bullet for My Valentine and Lostprophets), they reissued the EP to a wider audience. Bring Me the Horizon's full-length debut, Count Your Blessings, appeared in October 2006, with an American release following one year later courtesy of Epitaph Records.

With their second album, Suicide Season, Bring Me the Horizon moved in a more accessible direction and wound up cracking the U.K. album charts. Not everyone approved of the new sound, though, and Ward left the band in early 2009. His temporary replacement was Jona Weinhofen, formerly a member of I Killed the Prom Queen. Weinhofen ended up staying with the band as a permanent member, and the group returned to the studio with producer Fredrik Nordström in March 2010 to begin work on a third album. The resulting There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret was released during the latter half of 2010, several months after the band wrapped up its engagement with the Warped Tour. A fourth album, the more atmospheric Sempiternal, arrived on Epitaph in 2013.

Bring Me The Horizon will release a brand new single, "Drown", on December 7. A new full-length album is tentatetively due to be recorded early next year for a late 2015 release.

Bring Me The Horizon's frontman Oli Sykes recently revealed that he was "addicted to a drug called ketamine" prior to the making of "Sempiternal".

What doesn't kill you Makes you wish you were dead Got a hole in my soul growing deeper and deeper And I can't take One more moment of this silence The loneliness is haunting me And the weight of the worlds getting harder to hold up It comes in waves I close my eyes Hold my breath And let it bury me I'm not alright And it's not ok Won't you drag the lake And bring me home again Who will fix me now? Dive in when I'm down? Save me from myself, Don't let me drown Who will make me fight? Drag me out alive? Save me from myself, Don't let me drown What doesn't destroy you Leaves you broken instead. You know that I can't do this on my own.

Todays tune "Drown" is out on 7th December and is taken from the upcoming album. The Video is directed by Jacob Prientzlauer. Production company: The Wœrks.

Monday, time to crown this week's album and a little report from a show last week. Two in one!

Setlist

This weeks Record Of The Week "Sempiternal" is the fourth studio album by British metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 1 April 2013. It is the first album to feature keyboardist Jordan Fish and was believed to be the last album to feature guitarist Jona Weinhofen. However, Weinhofen's role within the album's development has been faced with controversy.

Written and recorded throughout 2012, Sempiternal showed the band pool diverse influences from electronic music, ambient music and pop. "Sempiternal" is an archaic English word denoting the concept of "everlasting time" that can never actually come to pass. It stems from the Latin word "sempiternus" (a concatenation of root "semper" and suffix "aeternum"). The album's cover art is a depiction of the Flower of Life.

The album has thus far spawned two singles ("Shadow Moses" and "Sleepwalking"). Sempiternal is a very powerful album and well energized. It's very noticeable electronic presence. In short, "Sempiternal" is an excellent album that really shows what Bring Me the Horizon can do and that they can innovate without losing something along the way.

Todays tune "Sleepwalking" is the 2:nd single taken from "Sempiternal", the video is directed by Aniceideaeveryday

Bring Me The Horizon - Shadow Moses

In 2010, Bring Me The Horizon released "There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret", an album that not only showed tremendous growth for the band, with its abrupt shifts and experimental metalcore with electronica, put the band on the map, and caught an almost universal attention from seemingly every corner of the world.

Now, almost 2 years after the British tattooed poster boys are back with a new single and today's tune "Shadow Moses", the track is the first cutout from the band’s upcoming fourth full-length release "Sempiternal", as far as i can hear this is a real assault with the familiar crunchy guitars, quickly rolling drums and with a little horny-like "We Going Nowere" chorus but still keeps the brutality for melody.

The album is written and recorded throughout 2012, "Sempiternal" showed the band pool diverse influences from electronic music, ambient music and pop. "Sempiternal" is an archaic English word denoting the concept of "everlasting time" that can never actually come to pass. It is the last album to feature rhythm guitarist Jona Weinhofen, who left shortly after recording finished in January 2013, and the first album to feature keyboardist Jordan Fish.

Today's tune "Shadow Moses" is taken from their upcoming fourth album, "Sempiternal", that will be released on 29 April 2013.

Machine Head - Locust

Today we announce the last band on "The Eighth Plague Tour" -package, the main act Machine Head. May tell you that during the soundcheck did their American sound engineer run all in on the volume to see how the stuff could work out, it was so high that the dust fell from the ceiling, the walls rattled and all the gauges went to the bottom. Not even earplugs helped here and sound engineers runned all this without earplugs no wonder he said WHAT in every other sentence.

Machine Head had a little video interviews, photoshoots etc during the evening before the doors, Roadrunner was there to do a review of both Robb Flynns and Phil Demmel guitar pedals and of course a meet and greet with fans.

After Bring Me The Horizon set was finished and while changeover is ongoing and Bring Me The Horizon stuff picked down, one could note that much of the audience changed to a slightly older and more mature crowd of metal fans, you hear how they warmed up with "Machine Fucking Head", now is all the bright tones gone.

Once it is time for the band to kick loose they will do it furious and it becomes an incredible tensile inside the arena for both music wise and audience wise. It's neat, wicked, mean and incredibly well played. The light is really nice and projector that plays on a backdrop and the two side sections fits in well in the harsh environment. The song "The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears" dedicated "LG" singer of Entombed, who was also is there this evening, as usual:) A Swedish flag throwns up on stage and "Flynn" wrap himselves in it while he holding a speech and invites the audience on a drink.

Overall, This package of awesome bands was an incredible successful move, they all did a really good show and maybe one of the best sofar with Machine Head. So
