Next one out from this weeks live experience is the Richmond based heavy metal band LAMB OF GOD. The final support band for SLAYER a few days ago. They did a pretty decent job, but it partly felt more like an 8-5 job than a nightclub show. Seen better shows from these lads.
Today's tune is the quasi-ballad features lyrics penned by vocalist Randy Blythe. He also came up with the video treatment. "I wrote the song about the dangers of self-obsession in our distressingly myopic and increasingly entitled 'me-now/now-me' culture,"
"Overlord" is taken from the eighth studio album "VII: Sturm und Drang". The album was released on July 24, 2015 through Epic Records in North America and through Nuclear Blast outside North America.
