Zed - Save You From Yourself
Bluesy hard rock to the highest degrees, San Francisco Bay Area's ZED delivers another excellent album.
Great Rock and Roll doesn't just happen. It's made. With sweat, swagger and the swilling of alcohol. And ZED makes rock the way it should be made. Loud guitars, a shot of whiskey and a middle finger. ZED takes it cues from the greats like ZEPPELIN, SABBATH and AC/DC, and mixes them with their other musical influences such as CLUTCH, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.
ZED independently released their sophomore album Desperation Blues in May of 2013, which garnered critical acclaim as well as charting on CMJ throughout the summer. Supporting the album up and down the west coast, ZED has played consistently through the fall of 2014 when they began focusing on writing their follow up to Desperation Blues, Trouble In Eden, which is also their debut for Ripple Music.
