Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love

Thursday, a special day indeed, especially considering that it's my birthday today, hurrah! Life keeps going on, the years go by (Strangely, I feel that life goes faster and faster the older one gets, kinda remarkable). Currently life is okay, not quite what I wanted but hopefully in the long run it will be good. That is at least my goal in life to look forward to.

Enough of that, let's not get in deep into life in general, let's skip this and let say congratulations Stones and play something that Stones(me) like. I believe that you guys that are following this blog already have figured it out that the house gods at the residence of Stones is Led Zeppelin :) Well yes that's right so lets play a tune with them on Stones Birthday.

From the Led Zeppelin II (Deluxe Edition) - Led Zeppelin's remastered second album that included the additional companion audio with unreleased studio outtakes. It was released on multiple CD, vinyl, and digital formats as well as a Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box.

Details on all formats are here:

Todays tune "Whole Lotta Love (Rough Mix With Vocal)" Led Zeppelin, taken from Led Zeppelin II (Deluxe Edition)

Rival Sons - All Over The Road

Yesterday me and Stones were at Debaser Medis in Stockholm and saw Rival Sons!

They had 2 support band that also were awesome, we will show em to u all later on TOTD.

I was all in trance...like im back in my youth and Im on a Led Zeppelin concert if I close my eyes, it is next to it be true. What is the most incredible is that Rival Sons has the same sound, even the vocals, but brand new tracks. It is amazing that they can keep it without sounding the same.

Singer Jay Buchanan holding the microphone as if it were his hair brush or toothbrush ... not cramped and fanatical but loose and relaxed as if it were part of his body haha wonderful.

Looked down at his shoes .... oh oh so typical for 60-70´s .. and striped socks, totally awesome!

Stones took sooo many awsome pics but here is a few of em...Enjoy!

They released 2 albums...or 2 and a half, as one is a ep.
Last album came 2011 "Pressure and Time" and my choise is the first track on this album.

Members:
Jay Buchanan - vocals
Scott Holiday - guitar
Robin Everhart - bass
Michael Miley - drums

Mass Murder Agenda - Never Again

This is the band that released their album, we were on at Debaser Slussen,
our friend Tristan (the vocalist) invited us there, and we were not dissapointed.

The place was crowded, the strobs (kinda very strong lights)were pumping so my eyes fell into tears :D

The music was hard, peculiar and dark! It was HardCore!

This is their biography:

Mass Murder Agenda was born in the late summer of 2009 by Bass player
Joakim Hedestedt (Face Down, Nation Beyond, ex-Construcdead).
The Idea was to mix thrash with industrial metal with no intention at all of
being original, just aggressive enough to play live. After written four bone crushing songs came the hard task to find the right band.

For the vocal parts Joakim chose his long time friend Tristan Agdler (ex-NIL) for his perfect mix of hard and melodic voice.

For programming and technical issues the hard burden fell on Henrik Blomqvist
(ex-Face Down), a choice that shown to be over all expectations.

When it came to drums there were only one name, Christoffer Barkensjö (Construcdead, Face Down and Kaamos) beside the fact of friendship Chris is by far one of the best metal drummers out there.

After trying a few guitarists an old friend gave tips of her boy friend Martin Sundberg (ex-Sexy Death), he was looking for a way into the more aggressive metal scene. Needless to say this was the best choice ever, besides being a very good friend, Martin brings the right heaviness and also the skills to program the right industrial sound.

Up to today we have spent the last months rehearsing and writing, I hope you like what you hear...best described as "Industrial Hardcore".

The members are:
Tristan Agdler - Vocals
Joakim Hedestedt - Bass
Martin Sundberg - Guitar
Henrik Blomqvist - Audio Warfare
Chris Barkensjö - Drums

Stones took some pics,
