CROBOT have announced a June 3 global release date for the band’s new studio album titled "Feel This".
Riff-monsters CROBOT conjure up the kind of rock 'n' roll that has grooves so powerful they throw you around the room and hooks high enough to shake the heavens. They take the sweet-sounding nectar of the gods and pour it down your throat until you're wailing along like a banshee.
With tens of millions of streams, countless shows and acclaim from the likes of Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, Kerrang, BBC Radio, SiriusXM Octane, Loudwire, Guitar World and more, Brandon Yeagley [vocals], Chris Bishop [guitar], Tim Peugh [bass], and Dan Ryan [drums] realize their vision like never before on their fifth full-length, Feel This.
You'll feel rock 'n' roll comes to life in CROBOT's hands. "We never want to make the same album twice," Brandon leaves off. "There is something for every CROBOT fan out there as well as newcomers. At the same time, we're having fun. We want to be taken seriously, but not too seriously—because this is monkey hour after all." "That's the fucking line right there," agrees Bishop. "We want you to walk away smiling. If I can make you smile, I've done my job."
“Feel This” is a tale of perseverance. “Through constant struggles, we learn more what it’s like to be human. Our shortcomings and strengths alike make us a unique species,” Brandon reflects. “Feel This very well may point to our biggest strength of all, our ability to feel emotion (for better or worse).” Human nature is threaded throughout the album, from volatile relationships [“Dizzy”] to imperfections and learning from mistakes on “Holy Ghost.” Its warbling harmony wraps around the wah-drenched guitar straight out of Seattle; Brandon’s grunge-y wail rings out on the hook, “I am not the holy ghost. I won’t ever save your soul.” There’s “believing in something so much” on “Set You Free,” which spirals towards a seismic crescendo and emotionally charged guitar lead from Bishop.
Today's tune "Set You Free", the first single out of the upcoming album, enjoy!
Central Pennsylvania old-souled, dirty groove rock quartet CROBOT are back with another sick and sinister groove for us all to dig too with their latest single, "Kiss It Goodbye" and on this tune they have invited a guest vocal from LIGHT THE TORCH's Howard Jones.
The single "Kiss It Goodbye" is featured on the upcoming "Rat Child" EP, which is due June 18 via Mascot Records along with the B side with the recently released track "Mountain" that included a guest turn from ANTHRAX's Frank Bello.
Of the new song, singer Brandon Yeagley states, “‘Kiss It Goodbye’ is a complete full-circle moment for us. We’ve idolized Howard Jones’ ability to pinpoint the perfect melody since picking up our instruments and that dude is on beast mode here. And those guitars sound like they’re right out of an Alien flick - This one is soaked in acidy-spit!”
He continues, “Howard was introduced to us through mutual friends. We have always been huge fans of his melodic footprint and his unique melodies. When we heard he would be interested in writing with us, we were beyond excited. He flew down to Austin and spent a few days in a studio with us. We had a such great chemistry with him and wrote this song. We thought it was a shoe-in for being a track on Motherbrain but for whatever reason, it didn’t make the cut. It seemed like such a travesty to let such a great song sit on the shelf. So, we’re pumped to let the world hear it now.”
Howard Jones adds, “Had a great time writing ‘Kiss It Goodbye’ with CROBOT! Their sound and energy is infectious, and there was no way I was passing up working with them. I hope you all dig it!”
Today's tune "Kiss It Goodbye" features Howard Jones of LIGHT THE TORCH and formerly of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, the tune is taken from the upcomming CROBOT Rat Child" EP, out June 18, 2021. Enjoy!
The American hard rockers CROBOT have announced the release of an EP titled "Rat Child" on June 18th. The new EP featuring some really cool guests like on today's tune "Mountain" (featuring Frank Bello from ANTHRAX), "Kiss It Goodbye" (featuring Howard Jones from LIGHT THE TORCH), "Everyone Dies" (featuring Stix Zadina from STEEL PANTHER).
Singer Brandon Yeagley shares, “We’ve grown to know the Anthrax dudes pretty well through touring and developed a working relationship in addition to our friendships. We’ve always talked about writing with Frankie because we have a lot of the same influences and that definitely shines through in "Mountain". Frankie has always lent us his ear and has been a big supporter of ours – it was a treat to work with him on something.”
CROBOT is an American hard rock band from Pottsville, Pennsylvania composed of:
Brandon Yeagley, Chris Bishop, Dan Ryan, and Eddie Collins.
Today's tune "Mountain" (featuring Frank Bello) taken from the upcoming EP "Rat Child", enjoy!
First Advent, time for the traditional Christmas decorations, light the first candle, cuddle with the family. Gifts are planed and those that have already been bought, will be wrapped with fine paper, a bow and a nice Christmas note with a recipient.
In the distance is the gentle jingle-jangle of bells echoing on all shops, neigbours etc. Record companys releasing Christmas album one after the other, some are good, some are bad, some are fun and some are boring. Mascot Records relasing an "Christmas Rocks E.P.", with pretty cool version of classic tunes eith bands like P.O.D., 10 YEARS, CROBOT, AYREON, OTHERWISE, BLACK STONE CHERRY and DRAGGED UNDER.
For today we have choosen to play the first Christmas tune and it's a real classic, many artists have done thier version of "What Child Is This?", a Christmas carol whose lyrics were written by William Chatterton Dix, in 1865. At the time of composing the carol, Dix worked as an insurance company manager and had been struck by a severe illness. While recovering, he underwent a spiritual renewal that led him to write several hymns, including lyrics to this carol that was subsequently set to the tune of "Greensleeves", a traditional English folk song. Although it was written in Great Britain, the carol is more popular in the United States than in its country of origin today.
Only CROBOT could turn a 19th-century hymn into a doomy BLACK SABBATH-esque colossus on "What Child Is This?", so enjoy today's tune taken from "Christmas Rocks E.P.", released November 27 on all streaming apps. Merry Riffmas, Beardos!

Monday, time to introduce this weeks "Record Of The Week", this week we have the 22nd studio release "Bad Magic" from the British metal trio MOTÖRHEAD.
The band have been around for 40 years now, releasing albums, touring and still rock more than others that have been on this long which is an incredible achievement. What makes MOTÖRHEAD so vigorous is they have chosen to maintain their own formula of rock and roll as intact as possible through the years. "Bad Magic" is exactly what you think it would be, an kickass rock album with 13 typical MOTÖRHEAD tunes that will not make you disappointed.
"Bad Magic" is warm and rumbling record with classic dirty riffs signed Phil "Wizzö" Campbell, powerful drums playing by Mikkey Dee and Lemmy sings excellent which almost make it impossible to keep your feets in place. :)
Oh I think I said the same thing last time I did a review of MOTÖRHEAD and their album "Aftershock". Well It's MOTÖRHEAD, they still can deliver an interesting album with straight forward pure-blooded Rock 'N Roll, that you can feel it in your blood and in your bones. "Bad Magic" keeps a good standard with many excellent tunes.
That MOTÖRHEAD have some problems at the moment is clear, shows have been cancelled. Obviously the greatest concern here is for the man's health, he is not 20, so take care of your health man, we want you around for as long as possible. Look, Lemmy is a legend – 49% motherfucker, 51% son of a bitch!
The album was produced by Cameron Webb and features on the bold cover of THE ROLLING STONES "Sympathy For The Devil".
To sum this up with a short line: Timeless sound, You Need This! (If you dig this band, go out and buy it for gods sake)
Think energy Think crackle Think volume Think snap Think thick bass riding with crunching riffs Think rich, loud, raw, ebullient ELECTRICITY, the first single from Motörhead’s forthcoming album Bad Magic, and a storming statement of intent to underscore that most righteous of phrases, if it’s too loud, you’re too old! Electricity; two minutes and 17 seconds of pure, raw Motör power.
As Lemmy says, "Freedom to believe don’t have a price Innocence never gets too old You need a bolt of rock Severe toxic shock Electricity deep in your soul” The man, and the band, don’t lie… …So get some “Electricity" and fast.
Todays tune "Electricity" is taken from "Bad Magic", a tune that contains a classic MOTÖRHEAD fashion!

The Central Pennsylvania old-souled, dirty groove rock quartet ”Crobot" takes the 9th place with the album "Something Supernatural" on Tune Of The Days Best album of the year 2014.
A band that we basically hailed to the gods of music creators for almost two years ago with the amazing tune ”Legend Of the Spaceborne Killer”. These dudes from Pottsville, with their catchy blues rock they really hit me in the face with their dirty snake boots.
It's really fun to listen to these guys, with their swinging rock, is not a limb in the body that stands still during thier play on the record table and all this with a giant smile.
Crobot is composed of the frontman Brandon Yeagley with his power packed vocals, Chris Bishop's magical riffages together with excellent rhythm section of Jake Figueroa and Paul Figueroa.
The first video and single "Nowhere to Hide” from the "Something Supernatural" have been seen here on Tune Of The Day earlier and today we give you another tune from the record called "Cloud Spiller", Enjoy!
Central Pennsylvania old-souled, dirty groove rock quartet ”Crobot" will release its new album, titled "Something Supernatural", on October 28.

Todays tune ”Nowhere to Hide” taken from the upcoming album "Something Supernatural”.
A quartet from central Pennsylvania, Crobot (named after a half-bird, half-”bot,” half-alien) caught my attention a few months back. A record that has really grown and now occupies the position as this years first "Record of the week" here at Tune Of The Day.
Their dirty sound, bluesy space rocking and energy-packed album takes me down to earth completely. With remnants from the 70's rock and set evoked memories of Rival Sons, The Parlor Mob, Danava and Wolfmother.
With a powerful packed punch of the vocals of lead singer Brandon Yeagley is the solid top of this iceberg, with his unique style, he tells his story where the foundation is made of the low frequencies expressed by Sam Grim on the bass guitar along with Tony Kobel on drums and where Chris Bishop can mesmerise us with his bobbing guitar riffs.
This eleven-track effort would be loved by any classic or modern rock
connoisseur, and with so many dirty seventies hard rock grooves with a
modern twist can't be better than this. The only thing I miss is the physical format Vinyl, perhaps they chooses
to release it eventually, one can only hope (although thisis onlya parenthesis).
Todays tune is the celestial-birthed, riffy title track taken from Crobot's debut "The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer"
