Seven Sisters - Shadow Of A Fallen Star

The British heavy metal flagbearers SEVEN SISTERS have brand new album in the pipeline.

"Shadow Of A Falling Star Pt.1" is the follow up to 2016’s "The Cauldron And The Cross", a release which earned rave reviews over here, but I never catached them on tour as they did so extensively in Europe with HAUNT. Hopefully next time as they are starting to book some dates now. The band have also been confirmed for Desertfest in 2022.

"Shadow Of A Falling Star Pt.1" is out 22nd October via Dissonance Productions. The vinyl version we have to wait abit for, it's set to be released on April 22, 2022. Recorded, mixed and produced by Kyle McNeill (Wizard Tower Studios, UK), Drums recorded by Tim Kramer (Signal House Studios, UK), Mastered by Michael 'Miro' Rodenberg (Gate Studios, Wolfsberg, Germany)

SEVEN SISTERS are a band that encapsulates melodic, twin guitar driven Heavy Metal. Taking the essence of the 80’s. infusing it with progressive song structures and an effortless command of dynamic, their take on metal is both familiar and unequivocally their own.

SEVEN SISTERS are:
Kyle McNeill - Vocals/Guitar
Graeme Farmer - Guitar
Gaz Martin - Bass
Sammy Christou - Drums

Today's tune "Shadow Of A Fallen Star" is the title track from the upcoming album "Shadow Of A Fallen Star Pt.1". Enjoy!

Seven Sisters - Horizon's Eye

The British heavy metal flagbearers SEVEN SISTERS have released the new track "Horizon’s Eye", taken from their next upcoming album, "Shadow Of A Fallen Star Part 1", which will be released 22 October 2021. The album is a follow-up to "The Cauldron And The Cross", which was released in 2016.

The album is a sci-fi concept album that tells a story dreamt up by frontman Kyle McNeill, and "Horizon’s Eye" is an excellent piece in a typical SEVEN SISTERS style and gives a great heads up on what to come.

“The story follows a young woman who uncovers some grim secrets about the operation of the planet, and after being contacted by the alien through her dreams, she decides to set it free. The album ends at the part when she leaves The Great Library along with the alien. The next album will deal with the second half of the story.”

Seven Sisters - Once And Future King

The heavy metal/Nwobhm SEVEN SISTER arrived 2016 with big steps and a thunderous debut, an album that I did like a lot, got many hrs of playtime until it ended up in the record shelf. A little now and then it gets aired and gets a lap on the turntable. Their self-titled debut album sold out of the first pressing of physical copies in just three weeks. With the all-important second album brewing, SEVEN SISTERs promises not to just copy the template laid down by the fathers of heavy metal, but to mold their own and usher in a new era.

With their sophomore effort "The Cauldron And The Cross" released in 2018 a release that I somehow totally missed, could be that they changed record label to Dissonance Productions that it just passed by unseen in the flood of new records. They have pretty recently released a split single together with the US heavy metal band HAUNT and when I tuned in to check it out I notice, got damn, they released an album 2018 that I haven't heard ...whoah so cool and in the same time, I feel a little ashamed that I missed this one, but hey I'm just human.

"The Cauldron And The Cross" is much like their 2016 debut, SEVEN SISTERS’ second album offers a grandiose take on traditional metal with ambitious songwriting. Just take today's tune "Once And Future King" where the tempo is high and energy scintillates, galloping twin guitars metal in the best possible way, really addictive.

Seven Sisters - Seven Sisters

Monday, New Week, time to introduce "Record Of The Week"

Born in the depths of West London, SEVEN SISTERS are a four-piece band forged from the same steel as the NWOBHM acts of yesteryear. Recently signing a deal with one of the most respected underground heavy metal record labels, High Roller Records, their self-titled debut album (14/10/2016) and sold out of all physical copies in three weeks after the release.

SEVEN SISTERS combines a love for story and folklore with virtuosity and epic atmosphere. Over the course of the album there are twists and turns that take you on a journey embellished with melody, ferocity, and ricocheting twin lead guitars to create a powerful riffage and a classic atmosphere that only be described as heavy metal. SEVEN SISTERS is growing for every spinn and if they continue on this path they will go long and hopefully take more space in a already well packed metal scene. High Roller Records will release a 2nd pressing of the vinyl coming early 2017!

Sum: Something for every Heavy Metal freak!

A nice blue Vinyl :)

Today's tune is the opening track “Destiny’s Calling”, with a slow and mystic intro until it kicks on with a full blast.

Seven Sisters - Highways of the Night

Born in the depths of West London, SEVEN SISTERS are a four-piece band forged from the same steel as the NWOBHM acts of yesteryear. Recently signing a deal with one of the most respected underground heavy metal record labels, High Roller Records, their self-titled debut album (14/10/2016) and sold out of all physical copies in three weeks after the release.

SEVEN SISTERS combines a love for story and folklore with virtuosity and epic atmosphere. Over the course of the album there are twists and turns that take you on a journey embellished with melody, ferocity, and twin lead guitars to create a sound that, although familiar, is SEVEN SISTERS alone. It can only be described as heavy metal, but it is much more than that and is sure to cement SEVEN SISTERS place in the thriving metal scene.
