Today I am on Popaganda with "Midlake", "Lykke Li", "Säkert", "Those Dancing Days," "Jenny Wilson" and "Blomman" Yesterday played bands like "Arcade Fire", "The Go! Team "," Saint Etienne "and others. That this is a festival that is as related to Way Out West noticeable apparently, music wise the same but with different names. Had probably wanted a little more off the rock touch of bands but you can not have everything in this world. A band that I had booked, if i would have been the bandbooker for this festival is "Other Lives".
The new record is a pretty fantastic story, filled with orchestral landscapes and a fine singing voice that is the quilt from a new made bed. The album is dark and spooky, a sweeping sense of an autumn overcast day in Stockholm.
"For 12" is the first single from the album, a mysterious, dreamy but incredibly beautiful thing.
Oh I was in the dark age searching for the ones in my mind.
But I had hit the ground runnin. Steady as you go. I don't mind. I'm still here today.
