Joe Bonamassa - Had To Cry Today

Saw Joe Bonamassa in Stockholm on Debaser, VERY crowded and to my suprise it was mostly men in their 40-50´s and there we were me and my Friend Kate the only single girls...the girls who was there was with a man... hmm...ANYWAY then HE started,
stod there with his sunglasses and gosh he is young, born 1977. ANWYAY the way he handle that gitarr....DAMN he is the GOD OF BLUES!!!!
Here is a tune that i really liked.

Down - Three Suns and One Star

Down is an American heavy metal band formed in 1991 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The band is a supergroup, comprised of members and former members of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Crowbar. The band comprises Phil Anselmo (vocals), Pepper Keenan (guitar), Kirk Windstein (guitar), Rex Brown (bass), and Jimmy Bower (drums). Since its inception, Down has released three studio albums and has gone on hiatus twice to focus on the members' respective bands.

Joss Stone - Son of a Preacher Man

Joss Stone (born Joscelyn Eve Stoker on 11 April 1987) is an English soul and R&B singer-songwriter and occasional actress who emerged to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions, which made the 2004 Mercury Prize shortlist. Her second album, the also-multi-platinum Mind, Body & Soul, topped the albums chart in the United Kingdom for one week and spawned the UK top ten hit "You Had Me". Both album and single each received one nomination at the 2005 Grammy Awards, while Stone herself was nominated for "Best New Artist". Stone's latest album, Introducing Joss Stone, released in March 2007, has achieved gold status by the RIAA.

Throughout her career, Stone has sold over ten million albums worldwide, and has won two BRIT Awards and one Grammy Award. She also ventured in the film business, making her acting debut in the fantasy adventure film Eragon, released in December 2006, as a witch named Angela.

Fields of the Nephilim - Preacher Man

Fields of the Nephilim is a gothic rock band formed in Stevenage, Hertfordshire in 1984. The original line-up consisted of vocalist Carl McCoy, saxophonist Gary Whisker, Tony Pettitt on bass, guitarist Paul Wright and drummer Andrew "Nod" Wright. Following the release of the debut EP Burning the Fields, Whisker left the band to be replaced by Peter Yates as second guitarist. The band's name refers to (magnetic) fields and a biblical race of giants or Angel/Human hybrids, known as the Nephilim. Although they never received substantial mainstream success, the band's seminal sound proved highly influential, especially on the genres of gothic rock, industrial metal.

Katatonia - My Twin

Katatonia is a Swedish metal band formed in Stockholm in 1991 by Jonas Renkse (formerly Lord Seth) and Anders Nyström (formerly Blakkheim). The early Katatonia albums are noted for the overall melancholy of their sound, often giving them the classification of doom metal or dark metal. Katatonia's more recent albums have progressed to a wider sound, with modern overtones, dropped guitars, symphonic synths and arrangements, alternative sounds and generally heavier riffs.

For today i have the song My Twin, a nice and calm tune from Katatonia and ofc a great video.

El Perro Del Mar - God Knows

El Perro del Mar (meaning "the dog of the sea" in Spanish) is a musical project that was founded in December 2003 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The sole member of El Perro del Mar, Sarah Assbring, initially started as an MP3/CD-R artist and released her first songs through Hybris. Her music could be defined as melancholic lo-fi twee pop.

Lizz Wright - Old Man

Lizz Wright (born January 22, 1980) is an American jazz singer and composer.

Wright was born in the small town of Hahira, Georgia, one of three children and the daughter of a minister. She started singing gospel music and playing piano in church as a child, and also became interested in jazz and blues. She attended Houston County High School, where she was heavily involved in choral singing, receiving the National Choral Award. She went on to Georgia State University in Atlanta to study singing. Since then she has studied at the New York New School, and in Vancouver.

Jeff Healey - While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Legendary Toronto blues guitarist and old-style jazz aficionado Jeff Healey died 2 days ago in Toronto's St. Joseph's Hospital after a lifelong battle with a rare form of cancer – retinoblastoma – that blinded him in his first year. He was 41.
To give him a warm farwell i choose to add this tune fortoday.
