The Kentucky rockers BLACK STONE CHERRY have released a new single/video from the upcoming fifth album "Kentucky".
BLACK STONE CHERRY is an American hard rock band, formed in 2001 in Edmonton, Kentucky. They were signed to Roadrunner Records until 2015; the band is now signed to Mascot Label Group. The band consists of Chris Robertson (lead vocals, lead guitar), Ben Wells (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Jon Lawhon (bass guitar, backing vocals), and John Fred Young (drums, backing vocals). BLACK STONE CHERRY have released four studio albums: Black Stone Cherry (2006), Folklore and Superstition (2008), Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (2011) and Magic Mountain (2014), as well as three EPs. The band's fifth album, "Kentucky" is due to be released on April 1, 2016.
Today's tune "In Our Dreams", the first single taken from our forthcoming fifth studio album, "KENTUCKY". The video is set in a post-apocalyptic underwater world, "Hydros", ruled by a nefarious leader. While the band play, the tale unfolds of two sisters separated in this society by a class structure. They're eventually reunited when a revolt topples the system and they escape to a new life above water.

Black Stone Cherry opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company on their co-headlining tour. The band headlined the second stage at Download Festival in June 2013. The band recorded in fall 2013 and on 4 February 2014 and announced their new album Magic Mountain would be released on May 6th 2014. Black Stone Cherry will headline a UK tour with Airbourne and Theory of a Deadman in October and November 2014

Factory Brains from Stockholm, Sweden, A band that really blew my mind as an unknown act when they got up on stage as the first support act to Rival Sons, I had been sulky over that not Black Stone Cherry came to Sweden as they have been touring with Rival Sons in UK just before they entred Swedish territory, but these guys really bend my legs so my feet beat the rytm and so Black Stone Cherry was forgotten quickly.
The band consists of Lewis, Samuel and Louis. Despite their young age, present the trio blues rock with a strong sense and great experience. As yet unsigned invites Factory Brains on frequent live performances, writing and recording new material. And yes, Rival Sons will come here soon...maybe tomorrow, so stay tune.
Today a video has been released from the Swedish band Europe! And I can tell u this much, that its really good and bluesy.
Its time that peeps get rid of their believe that Europe is a nice boy band... Since 2004 they changed their music a lot. The music nowa days is something else than Final Countdown.
Europe are going to release the new album, "Bag of Bones" (Gain / Sony Music) It will be released on April 25.
The disc is the band's ninth studio album is recorded in Atlantis Studio and produced and mixed by legendary Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Black Stone Cherry).
Kevin Shirley has this time elicited a bit more edgy and bluesy sound of the band. This, combined with Joey Tempest always so great melodies and John Norums guitar playing of world class standard. On the album including guest appearances as blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa and Kiss mythical drummer Anton Fig on percussion.
Regarding the new CD title, EUROPE drummer Ian Haugland said, "It's not [called 'Bag Of Bones'] because we all have lost tons of weight or found a new interest in archeology or dogs... It's just because it sounds fuckin' cool!"
This band is quite diffrent to other rock band I know, they dont drink or take any drugs. This is really Awesome and outstanding!
I loved their last album so I´m very exited over their new album "Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea", todays tune is taken from it. It will be released 31 of May.
The band Black Stone Cherry originated from Tramore, co Waterford. Chris Robertson and John Fred Young, son of The Kentucky Headhunters's rhythm guitarist Dicky Young, started to play music together early in their teens and Wells and Lawhon soon followed. Black Stone Cherry officially formed on June 4, 2001.
They then took over the practice house that had been used by The Kentucky Headhunters since 1968 and began to record tracks. After the band finished recording, they returned to Edmonton for a homecoming gig in the gym of the local middle school, which was attended by 1500 people.
After the band’s self-titled debut album was released, Robertson's former school principal invited the band back to Edmonton to celebrate with a concert. As the band entered the town, the streets were filled with people holding "welcome home" signs.
