Amon Amarth - Guardians Of Asgaard
Amon Amarth is a Viking-themed melodic death metal band from Tumba, Sweden, founded in 1988 as Scum and changed the name to Amon Amarth when Johan Hegg joined the band, the band is named after an alternative name for Mount Doom, a location in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. And so far he band has released seven studio albums.
Amon Amarth consists of Johan Hegg − vocals, Johan Söderberg − guitar, Olavi Mikkonen − guitar, Ted Lundström − bass and Fredrik Andersson − drums. Amon Amarth played at Arenan two days ago with Entombed. Amon did a great gig with their melodic death metal, the show included plenty of fire flames and it was great to see the timings of it. The Crew was nice, consisted of mostly germans. A funny thing that happen behind the scene was when Amon Amarth was going to play a tune to honer Entombed and invited LG to team up on the vocal part, LG stood next to the stage and wanted to have some water, grabbed a bottle on the fly and took a sip when he notice that the bottle didn't content water as expected it was the fuel for the firebar :) You should have seen his face. Well he entered the stage and did a hell of a part on the tune.
Another interesting thing was that their guitar tech "Steve" is playing in a nice industrial metal band called "Engel" and a tune from them will come soonish on Tune Of The Day.
Here is some picture from the show.
So enjoy this tune!
