"The End" is an epic song by the American rock band THE DOORS. Lead singer Jim Morrison initially wrote the lyrics about his break up with his girlfriend Mary Werbelow, but it evolved through months of performances at the Whisky a Go Go into a much longer song. THE DOORS recorded a nearly 12-minute version for their self-titled debut album, which was released on January 4, 1967.

Today's version is by the Danish indie rock duo THE RAVEONETTES, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner on guitar, instruments and vocals, and Sharin Foo on bass, guitar and vocals. Their music is characterized by close two-part vocal harmonies inspired by THE EVERLY BROTHERS coupled with hard-edged electric guitar overlaid with liberal doses of noise. Their songs juxtapose the structural and chordal simplicity of 1950s and 1960s rock with intense electric instrumentation, driving beats, and often dark lyrical content (e.g., crime, drugs, murder, suicide, love, lust, and betrayal), similar to another of the band's influences, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND.

Tucky Buzzard - Time Will Be Your Doctor

Sunday, time for a classic.

Today's tune "Time Will Be Your Doctor" is taken from the eponymous debut album "Tucky Buzzard" by the British hard rock band TUCKY BUZZARD. It was produced by THE ROLLING STONES bass player Bill Wyman. The album was featured on the band's 2005 compilation album "Time Will Be Your Doctor - Rare Recordings 1971-1972" in its entirety.

"Time Will Be Your Doctor" was also recorded by FUZZY DUCK for their self-titled debut album the same year.

TUCKY BUZZARD were a British hard rock band formed in 1969 by three former members of THE END. The original lineup was Jimmy Henderson (vocals), Terry Taylor (guitar), David Brown (bass), Paul Francis (drums), and Nick Graham (keyboards). Halfway through recording their debut album, Francis departed from the band and was replaced by an old friend from Spain, Chris Johnston, who recorded the remaining drum parts and was credited on the album sleeve. Tucky Buzzard produced a total of five albums between 1969 and 1973. The band's producer was Bill Wyman of THE ROLLING STONES.

Terry Taylor has worked on a number of musical compositions with Bill Wyman and has played with him in a number of his bands, WILLY AND THE POOR BOYS, BILL WYMANS RHYTHM KINGS, since he left THE ROLLING STONES. In 2006 TUCKY BUZZARD was featured in an article called Top 6 Classic Rock Bands You Never Knew You Didn't Know written by Dave White.

"Tucky Buzzard" was recorded at Olympic Studios, Barnes, London, 1969 and 1971. All tracks written by TUCKY BUZZARD except "Pisces Apple Lady" written by Leon Russell. Produced by Bill, with occasional help from Glyn Johns, with Mick Taylor doing a bit of guitar playing, and THE ROLLING STONES brass section of Bobby Keys [sax] and Jim Price [trumpet] helping out on some tracks. Originally released June 1971.

Graveyard - No Good, Mr Holden

The Swedish retro rockers GRAVEYARD have decided to officially close their musical journey, sad news indeed, hopefully a big rest will get them back on track again, they will be missed.

Dark clouds above the GRAVEYARD today.

Due to the all so classic reason "differences within the band" the GRAVEYARD is as of today officially closed. This is the unfortunate final decision we've had to make after going through a period of struggling n juggling with personal issues. Things have gone out of hand and now our energy is very low. As a direct result of this we're sorry to say that all scheduled touring is cancelled.

Graveyard have always been more about the music than the talking and that approach is the way we intend to deal with this situation also. What we can say is that we don't know if and when the Graveyard will re-open and return in full force.

In Flames - The End

"The End" is near. In fact, so are IN FLAMES, The Swedish metalheads that are back with a brand new track and their twelfth studio album called "Battles", is set for release on 11 November, 2016 through Nuclear Blast, check out the new tune below. However, the band have still not announced the drummer who will feature in the next album. The songs were recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson.

Todays tune "The End", the first single taken from the upcoming album "Battles". The Ironic title of the first single as the guitarist Björn Gelotte describes as "a pretty straight forward IN FLAMES tune. With that said, it is made with positive vibes. It is not cut-up-in-arms song. "The End" makes you realize and appreciate the moments!
