The Australian alternative singer songwriter/rocker Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will release of the sixteenth studio album "Skeleton Tree" on 9 September 2016. The album will be accompanied by the film One More Time with Feeling, directed by Andrew Dominik, which is set to be screened in cinemas worldwide for one night only on 8 September 2016 just before the album's release.
The first song from the album, "Jesus Alone" (today's tune), was released with an accompanying video On 1 September 2016.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds was formed in Melbourne in 1983 by lead singer Nick Cave, multi-instrumentalist Mick Harvey and guitarist Blixa Bargeld. The band has featured international personnel throughout its career and presently consists of Cave, violinist and multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, bassist Martyn P. Casey and keyboardist Conway Savage (all four from Australia), keyboard/percussion player Barry Adamson and guitarist George Vjestica (both from the United Kingdom), and drummers Thomas Wydler (Switzerland) and Jim Sclavunos (United States). The band has released fifteen studio albums and completed numerous international tours.
The band was founded after the demise of Cave and Harvey's former group the Birthday Party, the members of which met at a boarding school in Victoria, Australia. Deviating from the noise rock roots of their contemporaries, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have produced alternative rock that has been influenced by various genres, such as punk rock, gothic rock, no wave and blues. Their early material—From Her to Eternity (1984), The Firstborn Is Dead (1985), Your Funeral... My Trial (1986) and Tender Prey (1988)—primarily featured a post-punk sound. The band has progressively incorporated other songwriting elements; for example, the 2008 release Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! experimented with garage rock, also an influence of the side project Grinderman. Synthesizers and minimal guitar work feature prominently on their newest album, Push the Sky Away (2013), recorded after the departure of Harvey in 2009.

BLACK MOTH rose from the Leeds underground scene at the end of the last decade, indulging their love for both SABBATH sulphur and STOOGES squalor.
Their debut "The Killing Jar", which was released in 2012, was hailed by many as one of the best debut album's you'll hear all year, it even made it onto Kerrang's top 50 albums of the year. Now with an expanded (guitar) lineup to expand the riffage comes the follow up, "Condemned To Hope".
Their long awaited second album, produced like their first by Jim Sclavunos (GRINDERMAN, NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS, THE CRAMPS) takes their kaleidoscopic heaviosity and sepulchral style to a whole new plateau of riff-driven dementia. A turbulent brew with just as much 60s garage rock bite, head-spinning psychedelia and "1991-The-Year-That-Punk-Broke" grit to offer as Vinum Sabbathi riffage. "Condemned To Hope" is where BLACK MOTH truly render themselves a glimmering presence in the firmament of 21st century rock. A band just as comfortable sharing the Temples festival bill with the likes of ELECTRIC WIZARD and NEUROSIS as they are alongside NICK CAVE, IGGY POP and DEBORAH HARRY on the forthcoming JEFFREY LEE PIERCE Sessions album "Axels And Sockets".
As with all NHS releases the album package will be something very special, with some very special cover art.

The MOTH have had a storming couple of years since, playing festivals such as Leeds, Reading and Download, as well as two European tours and a massive 15-date UK tour, not to mention stamping their live authority on support slots with UNCLE ACID AND THE DEADBEATS, RED FANG, TURBOWOLF and TRUCKFIGHTERS to name a few.
"Condemned To Hope" is a "Refreshing" piece of technical garage-sleaze-doom-grunge with a strong female vocal presence!
