Ayreon - Through The Wormhole

Ayreon is a project by Dutch composer and musician Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Ayreon's musical style derives mostly from heavy metal and progressive rock, but combines them with genres like folk, classical and electronica to form what some call a completely new style of music. The majority of Ayreon's albums are dubbed "rock operas" because the albums contain complex storylines featuring a host of characters, each represented by a unique vocalist.

Todays tune "Through The Wormhole" is taken from "Universal Migrator Part 2: Flight of the Migrator" that is a progressive metal album released in 2000 and is the fifth album of his Ayreon project. "Through The Wormhole" is a song that makes reference to wormholes. In physics, a wormhole is a hypothetical topological feature of spacetime that is essentially a shortcut through space and time, allowing matter to travel from one point to another much faster than it would normally be possible. Here, the colonist continues his journey through the black hole, getting closer to the Earth. Vocals on this song were provided by Fabio Lione from Rhapsody. Gary Wehrkamp (from Shadow Gallery) performs a synthesizer solo and a guitar solo. Backing vocals were provided by Lana Lane.

Jävligt bra skiva! Inte den bästa låten dock. ;)

Håller med om att skivan är jävligt bra och kanske inte låtvalet är det bästa spåret på skivan men vid det här tillfället var det bästa valet, en såndär tågskönlåt.
