He also played hurdy-gurdy on the soundtrack of the 2003 film Young Adam. This was later released under the title Lead Us Not Into Temptation by David Byrne. Bunny Wailer - Blackheart Man

Bunny Wailer, also known as Bunny Livingston born April 10, 1947, Jamaica, is a singer songwriter and percussionist and was an original member of reggae group The Wailers along with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. He is widely regarded as a musical legend and is considered one of the longtime standard bearers of reggae music. He has been named by Newsweek as one of the three most important musicians in world music.

Last friday did Bunny entred the stage at Gröna Lund, it was 32 yrs ago he was on the same stage with the Bob Marley and the Wailers and he is the only living member from that time. The concert was marvelous, he shows the audience that he still is going strong and can deliver great tunes from the wailers catalog and his own.
Got a nice bunch of good pictures but i havent got time to go thru them yet.

Anyway, todays tune is when Bunny Wailer sings Blackheart Man at the Madison square Garden the 16 July 1986. Enjoy!

Morrissey - Irish Blood, English Heart

Moz did a gig at Hovet in Stockholm last night.

His lights was marvelous and his crew were great!!
A bunch of happy and mad dudes had a lot of fun, so thank you!

Morrissey has been vegetarian since he was 11 years old. Morrissey explained his vegetarianism by saying "If you love animals, obviously it doesn't make sense to hurt them", so no meat was served in the whole Hovet.

He became 50 years old in may this year.
The Swedish newspaper write of him as a livin legend.
Morrissey has always been politically outspoken, as well as
what he thinks of fellow artists.

For those who likes him enjoy this one.

Within Temptation - The Howling

This is a very good band that comes from the Netherlands.

The band was founded in 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt.[1] Their music is described as symphonic metal,[2][3] gothic metal and gothic rock, that really talkes to me.

They produced 4 albums and then 2008 they came out with a live album called Black Symphony. This tube comes from the album The heart of everything that came out 2007.

It was written as a promotional song for The Chronicles of Spellborn, along with "Sounds of Freedom". "The Howling" was used in an online trailer for the game.

Enjoy !

Ministry - What A Wonderful World

The Last Sucker is the eleventh studio album by industrial metal band Ministry, released in 2007 through 13th Planet Records.

Ministry's farewell tour, the "C-U-LaTour", started its North American leg on March 26, 2008 with Meshuggah performing as special guests and Hemlock as an opening act. The final date on their farewell tour was at the Tripod in Dublin, Ireland on 18 July 2008. During the performance, Jourgensen repeatedly reaffirmed that it would indeed be the last ever Ministry show. Due to a large demand for tickets, an extra gig was added at the Tripod on 19 July 2008. The band again played to a full house. It was clear that the band were not expecting so much support, as the merchandise stall was sold out before the gig even got under way. Ministry's final song at this show (and ostensibly their last ever live performance) was a rendition of their cover version of "What a Wonderful World".
And is a song by Bob Thiele, George David Weiss, and George Douglas.
The song was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released as a single in 1968.

Enjoy!

Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod

Ministry was an American industrial metal band founded by frontman Al Jourgensen in 1981. Originally a synthpop outfit, Ministry changed its style to industrial metal in the late 1980s. Ministrys most successful album was Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs (1992). Al Jourgensen decided to retire the band as of 2008.
Todays tune is "Jesus Built My Hotrod" and its taken from Psalm 69 and was one of the band's most popular song.
The track features a driving beat and speed metal guitar work backing Butthole Surfers' Gibby Haynes gonzo vocal stylings.

The song was released a little more than half a year before it appeared on the album.
Some of the vocal samples are from movies, including Brad Dourif in Wise Blood, and Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet.

Bruce Springsteen - If I Should Fall Behind

Second day with Bruce, todays tune is a track that first got released on Lucky Town back in 92'
Lucky Town is the tenth studio album by Bruce. This album was co-released on the same day as Human Touch.

History:

When Springsteen was working on Human Touch, he was intending to release the album sometime in 1990, but the project took him longer than he thought. He shelved the project in early 1991 and came back to it in September of the same year. He was intending to make one more song for the album, but he ended up making ten new songs, which wound up making a whole new album. Once he completed Lucky Town, he decided to release both albums at the same time.

This video is just great when the hole e-street band is on vocal, just enjoy it!

Bruce Springsteen - Fire

Bruce is back in town for 3 shows @ Stockholms Stadion.
The building of the area and the stage started already 2 days ago.
Bruce will perfom tomorrow, friday and sunday and having a day off with some activitys on saturday. This time he has his E-Street Band with both his wife and Nils Lofgren. So for some days we will celebrate the Boss with some tunes here @ Tune Of The Day even if im not a big fan of the guy but the hole town has Bruce fever atm. Its a pity that i forgot the camera yesterday else i could have shown some pictures from the area and stage, well perhaps in the end of this week.

Todays tune "Fire" is a song written by Bruce and originally intended for use by Elvis Presley. It was recorded first by Robert Gordon during 1978, and he received some modest album-oriented rock radio broadcasting with it.

It was then recorded and released by The Pointer Sisters later during 1978, and they gained a major success from it.

Springsteen release his own recording of the song on his 1986 Live/1975-85 album, which contains his (edited version) December 16, 1978 performance.

A cover version of "Fire" was recorded by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Des'ree for the soundtrack of the 1998 motion picture Hav Plenty.

Cher performed the song on the "Love Hurts Tour" in 1992.

More Bruce stuff tomorrow.

Now that is something!!!

This tune comes from the album "Systematic Chaos" that was done in 2007,
both James LaBrie and Mike Portnoy do contributing vocals.
It sounds pretty cool.

Enjoy Folks!
