Inglorious - I Don't Need Your Loving

INGLORIOUS are five young men with a mutual love and respect of the classics of Hard Rock music, big guitar riffs, and soulful vocals. Their influences stem from iconic rock and roll shrine of Rock albums from the 1970s – many years before the band members were born.

A new studio album is made and it's simply named as "Inglorious II", it set to be released on 12th May 2017. The album is produced by the legendary producer Kevin “Caveman” Shirley (LED ZEPPELIN, AEROSMITH, BON JOVI & RUSH)

INGLORIOUS was formed in February 2014, the band is fronted by Nathan James, who made a name for himself having sung for the multi-platinum selling TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA and SCORPIONS guitar legend Uli Jon Roth. Nathan was looking for like-minded musicians that desired to make incredible rock music in a very honest fashion.

Inspired by musical giants such as DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN, WHITESNAKE, BAD COMPANY, AEROSMITH, the band has recently completed the recording of their self titled debut album which will see the light of day in February 2016.

The band have also announced the departure of album guitarist Wil Taylor right after the end of the new album's recording. They are delighted to announce that for 2017 and moving forward they are reuniting with original member Drew Lowe on guitar, who is joining the band as a permanent member.

The album will be released as a standard CD and also as a Deluxe 2CD/DVD edition. The DVD will feature a previously unavailable live performance from Download Festival 2016 plus extra bonus content, including videos for forthcoming singles “I Don’t Need Your Loving” and “Taking The Blame”.

A vinyl release will also be made available through Frontiers Music Srl partners Soulfood.

Monday, New Week, time to introduce "Record Of The Week"

"Nightmare Logic" is the second crushing, soul mangling, neck bustin’ release from Texas hardcore thrashers POWER TRIP.

The album was recorded by Arthur Rizik (INQUISITION) , mastered by Joel Grind (POISON IDEA, TOXIC HOLOCAUST) and features cover art by Paolo Girard. All songs written & arranged by Blake Ibanez and Chris Ulsh. All lyrics by Riley Gale. "Nightmare Logic" was released February 24, 2017.

"Nightmare Logic" is a record full of raw energy from start to finish, great structure, powerful rich tones and fearless riffs with a massive attitude.

"Nightmare Logic" contains 8 tunes that clocks in at 32 min, short, yeah, but not a single moment wasted on this album. The record alternates between the fearless air strike with a punk attitude in tunes as "Soul Sacrifice", "Firing Squad", "Waiting Around to Die" and "Crucifixation" to more delicious groovy riffing in tunes like the title track "Nightmare Logic", "Executioner’s Tax - Swing of the Axe", "Ruination" and "If Not Us Then Who".

"Nightmare Logic" is an excellent album with great songwriting skill, the lyrics reflects human suffering, devaluation of human life by those who’ve gained power through money and politics.

Nano - Hold On

The Melodifestivalen 2017 tour is finally over, 6 weeks on tour with loads of music, up & down, rehearsals, changes, travels, hotels etc. It have been a great tour, lots of fun even if the music don't speak all the time to my heart.

There have been a few artists that I thought could be decent winners, a worthy tune to represent Sweden in the Eurovison Song Contest that is going to take place in Kiev, Ukrainia in May.

Winner of Melodifestivalen 2017 - Robin Bengtsson

Nano Omar, better known as simply Nano, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He first came to prominence while competing in Melodifestivalen 2017. Nano is the Breakthrough at the Melodifestivalen Contest 2017. With a true soulful heart and a strong voice made him to stand out and win the Swedish viewers votes. Omar was born in 1986 in Botkyrka, Stockholm. At age 12, he moved to a foster home in Gotland. When his mother visited him for the first time since moving in, she gave him a synthesizer, which influenced his decision to focus on music.

He was arrested at age 18, and went to jail. When he was 21, he ended up in jail once again and thereafter was also informed that his girlfriend was pregnant with their child; Because of this, he decided to focus on his family and resume his musical career.

In the spring of 2015, he released his debut single "Lion". In 2017, he began competing in Melodifestivalen 2017, the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Hold On". He has progressed directly to the final from the first-semi-final. In the final he placed second overall, being the winner of the televoting and second in the jury voting.
