The recently turned 30-year-old will participate tomorrow during the final of the Melodifestivalen, for those of you who follow this.
Cornelia Jakobs new song "Fine", which emerged from an event in the flow, may be because I simply drugged female artists this week.
The song is composed by Carl Silvergran, Cornelia Jakobs, Emma Bertilsson and Felix Flygare Floderer. Anna Cornelia Jakobsdotter Samuelsson or simply Cornelia Jakobs is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She was born on March 9, 1992, in Sweden. Her career started in 2008, when she competed in the Swedish version of Idol. She has in the past participated at Melodifestivalen as part of Love Generation both in 2011 and 2012. She remains part of the group, which now it is called “Stockholm Syndrome”.
This year, she competes in the Swedish national final solo with the song “Hold Me Closer”. The artist has advanced to tomorrow’s final!
So all the luck to her tomorrow and in the mean time we spin her latest single "Fine", enjoy today's tune.
The Melodifestivalen 2017 tour is finally over, 6 weeks on tour with loads of music, up & down, rehearsals, changes, travels, hotels etc. It have been a great tour, lots of fun even if the music don't speak all the time to my heart.
There have been a few artists that I thought could be decent winners, a worthy tune to represent Sweden in the Eurovison Song Contest that is going to take place in Kiev, Ukrainia in May.

Nano Omar, better known as simply Nano, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He first came to prominence while competing in Melodifestivalen 2017. Nano is the Breakthrough at the Melodifestivalen Contest 2017. With a true soulful heart and a strong voice made him to stand out and win the Swedish viewers votes.
Omar was born in 1986 in Botkyrka, Stockholm. At age 12, he moved to a foster home in Gotland. When his mother visited him for the first time since moving in, she gave him a synthesizer, which influenced his decision to focus on music.
He was arrested at age 18, and went to jail. When he was 21, he ended up in jail once again and thereafter was also informed that his girlfriend was pregnant with their child; Because of this, he decided to focus on his family and resume his musical career.
In the spring of 2015, he released his debut single "Lion". In 2017, he began competing in Melodifestivalen 2017, the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Hold On". He has progressed directly to the final from the first-semi-final. In the final he placed second overall, being the winner of the televoting and second in the jury voting.
Thanks Nano for leaving this behind for me, I'm grateful :)
Today's tune "Hold On" is a song recorded by Swedish singer Nano. The song was released as a digital download in Sweden on 26 February 2017 and peaked at number 7 on the Swedish Singles Chart. It was written by Nano, Gino Yonan, Ayak Thiik, Carl Rydén, Christoffer Belaieff, Rikard de Bruin, and David Francis Jackson.
Maundy Thursday (also known as Holy Thursday, Covenant Thursday, Great and Holy Thursday, Sheer Thursday, and Thursday of Mysteries) is the Christian holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter. In Swedish it's called Skärtorsdag :)
So behind, I find myself when it comes to reports about things that have happened recently. I'll certainly try to do better, so I start with one big thing that happens every year, it's the 6 weeks tour with "Melodifestivalen" Swedish tour version of Eurovison Song Contest. I participate in this Circus, not as an artist but as a hard working guy :)
It was a very fun journey, working with the best of the best, a tour were failures are so few that you almost not notice them as everything goes so smooth, fun tour indeed. Musicvise it's not my cup of thé, but I survived :) Anyway, here are some rare photos from the rehearsals.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It will take place in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, following Sweden's victory at the 2015 Contest in Vienna with the song "Heroes", performed by Måns Zelmerlöw. This will be the third time the contest has taken place in Stockholm, after 1975 and 2000, the latter also being held at the Globe. The contest will consist of two semi-finals on 10 and 12 May and the final on 14 May 2016. The three live shows will be hosted by Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede.
Forty-three countries will participate, equalling the record number of participants set in 2008 and 2011. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia and Ukraine will return after absences from recent contests, while Australia will also return after débuting as a special guest in 2015. However, Portugal will withdraw. The contest will also be the first to implement a new voting system since 1975, with each country now awarding two sets of points: one from their professional jury and another from televoting.

Sunday and finally a six-week tour with the Swedish Melodifestivalen to its end.
Sundays usually mean that a classic of any kind is played here, but not this sunday, today I will do a short brief recap of the time that has passed and we will play the winner of course.
Six weeks with "Schlager" music, not really my cup of tea music wise, but it has been a great time as the peoples behind this Eurovision circus are the best Sweden can offer in all plans. I must say that it has beena real challenge, were the focus have to be 100% all the time where a small mistake will be notice and it's something you can't afford. 6 weeks, 6 towns were 7 acts performed in each town and 2 went straight to final and 2 to the second chance. The 5 week we were in Helsingborg for the second chance were 8 acts have to fight in a duel to get the last 4 spots to the final. The final was at Friends Arena here in Stockholm were 12 acts have to fight over the 1 spot in Eurovision. This year I have to agree that right song won the Swedish Melodifestivalen and I believe he will have a good change to win the hole thing with a bang :) Only one "Rock" act NEVERSTORE participated in this contest, really bad. Last year there was 2 :) Well the final "Middle acts" was a bit more rock than normal, were the Norwegian Comedy Rock band YLVIS did a pretty cool tune and the Swedish fusion funk band "DIRTY LOOPS" did the cover of last years Swedish winner "Undo".
Måns during rehearsals!
One of the first rehearsals where some red pyro was tested but as you can see, I got pretty red to be able to use it in TV :)

Outtrigger is a Swedish metal group from Helsingborg composed of members John Löfgren, Simon Peyron, Timmy Andersson, Joakim Agnemyr and Adam Axelsson. The band broke through in 2013 with a cover of Robin Stjernbergs song "You". Outtrigger participate in Melodifestivalen 2014 and was one of the better act on that tour.
