Amaranthe - Do Or Die

Sweden’s hottest metal export have just finishing their European arena tour with SABATON have released a brand-new song feat. Angela Gossow, the former singer of ARCH ENEMY who left the Extreme Metal giants after the "Khaos Legions" album in 2011 and haven’t grabbed a microphone since then! "Do Or Die" shows AMARANTHE’s heavier side and comes with a dystopian  horror video filmed in Spain, featuring Fardou Keuning's stunning creatures. Alongside Angela, current ARCH ENEMY guitar hero extraordinaire, Jeff Loomis, contributes a crushing solo to the track.

AMARANTHE’s previous videos reached over 250 million views on YouTube and the latest album achieved their so far highest German chart entry on #29 – and this is just the beginning!!! Confirmed for Sweden Rock, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park and many more summer festivals. Kreator - Hail To The Hordes

German thrash titans KREATOR and the 14th album "Gods Of Violence" takes the position 36 on this years Top 50 Best Albums 2017.

Age Sten Nilsen's Ammunition - Road To Babylon

Former WIGWAM Frontman Teams Up With Members Of W.E.T, ECLIPSE, KING DIAMOND, SABATON, PRETTY MAIDS, NORDIC BEAST, CIRCUS MAXIMUS and WIGWAM!

Age Sten Nilsen is picking up where his former band WIGWAM left off. Penning new rock anthems with Erik Mårtensson (ECLIPSE/W.E.T) in Stockholm since October 2013, originally dedicated for the long awaited sixth studio album from Wigwam. When Wigwam surprisingly decided to call it a day after 13 years, Age Sten soon formed his own band, recording the new songs in the vein of the new band effort AMMUNITION.

The new material wears the same catchiness as Wigwam, yet offers a rougher and more subtle sound and arrangements than his former band’s latter productions. Produced by one of melodic rocks most esteemed producers Erik Mårtensson, Ammuniton is now on the verge of finishing its first album due for a release later this year. With a dream team of rock musicians in the line-up Ammunition has already debuted live, blasting through Wigwam gems blended with new unreleased songs from the forthcoming album and live favorites from LED ZEPPELIN and QUEEN.

Zara Larsson - Uncover

Rockbjörnen is a music prize in Sweden, divided into several categories, which is awarded annually by the newspaper Aftonbladet. The magazine's web browser appoint laureates. The prize was first awarded in 1979, and is mostly centered on pop and rock.

2010 they decided to redo Rockbjörnen and focus more on live performances. This initiative was hailed by artists and industry. The period of Rockbjörnen was extended with the concept of development from one month to three months (all summer).

Well it was a pretty strange evening at Gröna Lund and if you take a closer look on what the menu is offering during this evening you start to wonder if it's time to start think about chance the name from Rockbjörnen to Popbjörnen (Rockbear to Popbear) as to be honest, there is not much rock left here.
After a short chat with Sabaton, one of the Rock band that was nominated, they felt pretty lost in there, the same feeling I believe Lizette & and Ghost had.

Anyway, here you got this years winners:

And then we need to pick a song from this event. Well this years breakthrough was pretty cool, a 15 year old girl that sings awesome.

Zara received national fame for winning the TV4 talent show Talang 2008, the Swedish version of Got Talent. She is currently signed to TEN Music Group since 2012. She had a breakthrough with her debut EP album Introducing, released in January 2013, with the single "Uncover" topping the charts in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Both the single "Uncover" as well as the album Introducing were certified triple platinum in July 2013 by Universal Music Sweden. Zara signed with Sony Music Entertainment in the United States in April 2013. She lives with her mother, father and her one sister.

the vocalist Lzzy sings like a frecking godess!

Its her and her bro Siblings Arejay that its the body in this band,

 her real name is Elizabeth Hale.

Lzzy also appeared with Slash at his gig!

Slash - Anastasia

 

Last night I attended a big radio station here in Sweden, and its Rock Awards.

As usual the Host Speakers trowed themselfs out in the crowd and stagedived a bit.

This was sooo nice to see.

 

I was standing in front and had a cosy time with other people who 

(as me) was dripping of sweat, this was totally magic to listen to them, they did a marvelous gig Loved every damn second!!!!

Slash did many fantastic guitar solos that gave me goosebumps.

Sabaton - Karolinens Bön

 The headline on this sunday night was a swedish band called Sabaton.
They made a record with both English and Swedish lyrics.
The album is about the Swedish superpower years, which traditionally lasted from 1611 to 1719.  It is so called because when Sweden reached the height of its political and military power.

I´ve seen them before and I didnt think they were that good.. But Sabaton have grown up.
Really good! The lightning were pretty cool. The vocal guy Joakim Brodén he is a real down to earth guy with a good portion of kindness in him :D

The show was extremely good, donno how to explain but it was kinda magic :D 
The crowd was totally in euphoria, the sang moved jumped head banged claped their hands etc etc.

Greatest was when he begun to sing a tune and the audience suddenly sang much higher volume than Joakim did, he was stunned :D Goose bums concert.

Seether - Remedy

On the 18th of February 2012 there was a big happening in Stockholm.
Our Best and Biggest Rock/Metal radio station delivered their awards.
Bandit Rock Awards!

The bands was 3 Doors Down, Seether, Raubtier, Amaranthe och Supercharger.
The Swedish band Sabaton was suposed to come but illness stoped them.
I missed Supercharger, but I know em since earlier, quite okey band.



The best band this night was Seether, although 3 Doors down did a good job but its not really my cup of tea really. Raubtier was awesome, they have their special style and they rocked! Some of em comes from the same hometown of Stones, very far up north of Sweden, Haparanda. Lovely place in the summer.

Seethers technicians was awesome, really friendly and great guys and the group was even more great :D
