ZZ Top is out on their 2010 World Tour (started in April 29, 2010 – Oktober 29, 2010), The tour is to celebrate their 40 years as a band which is incredible in my eyes. Yesterday, landed these bearded men in Stockholm for the 101:th gig at "Annexet".
They played in Gothenburg on the 22/10 with a special guests "The Doobie Brothers"
ZZ Top doing what they should when they come up on stage, a little too much routine in my opinion, but i guess it's so when you have done this as long as they. The Music swing is there, but parts of it is a little bit too sleepy, the lights is really nice and the video wall running cool clips during the songs. Stage set is simple and have a clean style, see photos below.
Todays tune "Jesus Just Left Chicago" taken from Tres Hombres is the third album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1973. This clip is from "Double Down Live - 1980"
Here is a clip from aux Arènes de Bayonne le Jeudi 8 July 2010
And for last a bonus clip with a short story from the band.
