Sahg - Mortify

Today i will do another dig in the pile of new reviews that my colleagues have done at WeRock, as usually there is plenty of interesting bands to look up, one that i have totally missed but the review got my attention, so i needed to check it up and look what i found, hell yeah one more Norwegian act that rocks, as far as i have listen to it during the day i started to like this band more and more.

The band Sahg is a four-piece Norwegian metal band formed in the summer of 2004. After years of involvement on different ends of the Norwegian rock and metal scene, four hard rock devotees teamed up under the name Sahg. The band consists of King on bass, Olav on lead vocals and guitar, Thomas on guitar and Tor on drums. In mid-April 2006, the band's debut album 'Sahg 1' was released. In September 2006, Sahg headed out on a three weeks tour of USA and Canada, supporting Swiss metal legends Celtic Frost. Along for the ride was also fellow Norwegians, 1349. In 2008 they did a follow up the release of 'Sahg I' with the Sahg II.

Sahg released their third album entitled "Sahg 3" in August of 2010. You can read the review on WeRock made by Robert Gustafsson.

Sahg is out touring with Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved, they will visit Stockholm and Arenan at 12 of October.

Todays tune "Mortify" is taken from their latest release Sahg III. This clip is performed live at the 'Sahg III' listening session at the Hole In The Sky Festival on August 27.
