With its unique Afro-Latin-blues-inspired music, Carlos Santana has established itself as one of the foremost rock guitarists in the world. Since the late 1960s he has released over 40 full length albums under the group name and Santana has sold over 90 million albums.
There are more guitar solos than in an entire average Globe concert when you see Carlos Santana live is pretty much nothing strange about it. Tonight's music substances are mixed with modern pop salsa and old school Latin rock. Back in black, Riders on the Storm and Sunshine of your love taken from his latest album "Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time" was well received by the audience. Even John Coltrane, A Love Supreme was spot on your playlist for the evening. The band has two singers that can handle all parts excellent, but feels a bit anonymous. So a summary of the evening, I think this was a brilliant evening and a great gig, really liked it and actually "danced"(bone vibrated) with most of the tunes at the concert. Here is some pictures from the show, including the one were the little kid got the chance to jam with the band.
The new album "Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time", referred to as simply Guitar Heaven, is the eighteenth studio album by Carlos Santana, released on September 21, 2010. It is a classic rock covers album and features guest performances by several popular vocalists, including India.Arie, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Scott Stapp of Creed, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Chris Daughtry of Daughtry, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Rob Thomas, and rapper Nas.
Todays tune is taken from his latest record "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (feat. India.Arie & Yo-Yo Ma) The tune is written by George Harrison of The Beatles. Enjoy!

It was an Awesome concert in every way, he had a speach in the middle and that was more magic than the show..and the show was w0w!!
When one works at these concerts, the crew never clap their hands or so but this was totally diffrent.
people (including me) were dancing clapping hands
and were really splurging on it.
A fantastic view!
