Misery Index - The Calling

The Killing Gods is the fifth studio album by American deathgrind band Misery Index. It was released on May 23, 2014, by Season of Mist. The first five tracks of the album are all part of one collective song called "Faust". Where todays tune is one of them.

Misery Index is an American deathgrind band formed in 2001 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, by Jason Netherton on vocals and bass guitar, Mike Harrison on vocals and guitar, and Kevin Talley on drums. From 2006–2010, its line-up consisted of Netherton on vocals and bass guitar, Sparky Voyles on guitar, Mark Kloeppel on vocals and guitar, and Adam Jarvis on drums. In 2010, Voyles left the band and was replaced by Darin Morris.

Kobra And The Lotus - I Am, I Am

Canada-based metallers Kobra and the Lotus, formed in 2009 by lead vocalist and songwriter Kobra Paige. The bands new album "High Priestess", which is due out in North America on June 24 via Titan Music. Produced by the Grammy-nominated Johnny K (MEGADETH, DISTURBED, THREE DOORS DOWN), the CD delivers a blend of fiery vocals, heavy riff-laden melodies and ferocious musicianship.

The band has been tapped as support for legendary bands KISS and DEF LEPPARD this summer on their massive North American summer tour.

Wolf - My Demon

The Swedish metalheads Wolf is back with a new tune from the new upcoming album "Devil Seed". The heavy metal band from Örebro, Sweden. Formed in 1995, the band has since released six albums and toured with Saxon, Evile, Tankard and more recently, Trivium.

Todays tune "My Demon" is taken from the upcoming seventh album "Devil Seed", set to release August 25 thru Century Media Records.

Greenleaf - Equators

New week, time to present a new album for this week, today we pick a band from Sweden and present the Borlänge based rock band "Greenleaf".

A band that have over the years made up of several members from bands like Truckfighters and Dozer. Greenleaf plays a fuzzy psychedelic stoner rock with classic rock riffs.

This weeks album "Trails & Passes" is the fifth long-player from Greenleaf and it's an album filled up with great harmony, skill full riffs and expressive melodies signed by Tommi Holappa. The new singer Arvid Jonsson sings with high class, the vocals are mature and deep and suits Greenleaf perfectly. The album delivers a production that is both deep, sharp and more complex than previous releases.  Greenleaf have released a really pleasant album that have been spinning on my record player for some time now, it's a record that is growing for every spin and Im sure it will spin more than one time and continue to give me some happiness.

Todays tune "Equators" is taken from the album Trails & Passes (SS-147), Small Stone Records (2014).
