Papa Roach - Born For Greatness

PAPA ROACH has released a new music video for "Born For Greatness". The track is taken from the band's ninth studio album, "Crooked Teeth", which was released last May.

Featuring galvanizing performances from Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham, Jen Bricker and Jean Sok — three talented individuals who refuse to be limited by physical challenges — the clip is a testament to the limitless possibilities within all of us.

"This video is to showcase to the world that no matter your struggle and/or adversity, you are born for greatness," says PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix.

Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham was born with spina bifida, a birth defect of the spinal cord. Fotheringham has gone on to become a professional WCMX (wheelchair motocross) athlete. He completed the first ever wheelchair front flip while touring the world with Nitro Circus.

Jen Bricker was born without legs and her heart on the opposite side of her chest. "Never say can't" is her motto. The professional aerialist has toured the world and performed with global superstars, including Britney Spears.

Jean Sok is a breakdancer with only one leg. Employing "b-boy" style techniques, Sok incorporates his crutches into his moves, using them as an extension of his arms. He gained international acclaim as a performer for Cirque Du Soliel's "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour" and "Michael Jackson One".

PAPA ROACH will tour with A DAY TO REMEMBER in February and March before launching a North American headline tour with support from NOTHING MORE and ESCAPE THE FATE on April 5, see the dates below.

Papa Roach - Periscope (feat. Skylar Grey)

The Vacaville, California rock band PAPA ROACH have a released a new video for the song "Periscope", (see below) the tune which features a guest appearance by Skylar Grey, is taken from the band's ninth studio album, "Crooked Teeth", which was released on May 19 via Eleven Seven Music. The album has received generally positive reviews from critics.

Regarding to blabbermouth did PAPA ROACH vocalist Jacoby Shaddix said:

"'Periscope' is inspired by the realization that sometimes within a relationship you might not be worth being loved or that the other person may not be worth your love, and the struggle within that — how much effort it takes to make things work. One part that I think is really meaningful in the video is when Skylar and I are in the shot at the same time, yet we're not engaging with each other. It represents the 'disconnection' with two people, which is very much what the lyrics describe." Grey added: "You are loving someone from a distance, not able to reach them." 

Regarding how the Grey collaboration came about, Shaddix told the Q103 radio station: "We wanted to have a guest female vocal on "Periscope", and on the last album, we had Maria Brink from IN THIS MOMENT on "Gravity". I didn't wanna just go in and grab another rock chick. I wanted to work with somebody that was outside the box and different but that I was a fan of. So I've been listening to this girl Skylar Grey for a few years now. And she's been on some great tracks — she's been on some Dre stuff, some Eminem stuff, she's been on a FORT MINOR track. But she's kind of this indie, alternative, pop type of girl, and she's just got a lot of credibility in that scene, and she's got a great voice, and I'm a big fan."

The album was written and recorded in a cramped North Hollywood studio, "Crooked Teeth" was produced by first timers Nicholas "RAS" Furlong and Colin Brittain, with the exception of "Born For Greatness", which saw the band collaborate with writer/producer Jason Evigan (Jason Derulo, Demi Lovato, Zedd, MAROON 5) for this positive, pulsating anthem. Furlong and Brittain, who grew up listening to PAPA ROACH, inspired the band to revisit some of the traits that personally endeared the band to them, most notably singer Jacoby Shaddix's remarkable rapping technique and the band's intense live energy.

Five Finger Death Punch - Jekyll And Hyde

The Las Vegas rockers FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH are back with a new video for their new crazy single "Jekyll and Hyde". The clip features the band members doing various nonsensical things, as they apparently created the video without consulting their record label, Prospect Park. The tune is taken from the upcoming album "Got Your Six". It is scheduled to be released on August 28, 2015

Papa Roach - Face Everything And Rise

The California Rock band "Papa Roach" topped the alternative chart with their first single "Last Resort" in 2000. With that success did the band's album Infest into the top 10 and sales of over three million. The group has returned to the top 10 on the alternative chart six more times and have earned 12 top 10 mainstream rock hits. The upcoming eighth album F.E.A.R. is set for release on January 27, 2015 and pretty recent have they guys released the video for Face Everything And Rise, the opening track on their forthcoming eighth studio album.

Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California. Their first major-label release was the triple-platinum album Infest (2000). The group's success continued with their gold album Lovehatetragedy (2002), their platinum album Getting Away with Murder (2004), The Paramour Sessions (2006), Metamorphosis (2009), Time for Annihilation (2010), and The Connection (2012). Papa Roach has sold more than 20 million album copies worldwide and are known for their songs "Last Resort", "Between Angels and Insects", "She Loves Me Not", "Getting Away with Murder", "Scars", "...To Be Loved", "Forever", and "Lifeline".
