Asking Alexandria - Never Gonna Learn

The British rockers ASKING ALEXANDRIA have released a new EP titled "Never Gonna Learn" via Better Noise Music. In addition to the title track, the project includes a new collaboration with Maria Brink from IN THIS MOMENT. Brink also commented on her collaboration with the band, saying: "We've known ASKING ALEXANDRIA for years and it's nice to finally collaborate together. They are incredibly talented and joining forces with them was a lot of fun. I can't wait for everyone to hear the song and I'm grateful to be a part of it."

The second and current single off their latest album, "Never Gonna Learn" and its video, see it below, in which the band performs the song in an intimate setting interspersed with polaroid images of the session, received attention a number of outlets upon its release, with many of them praising the song's immediate catchiness and declaring it a destined-to-be fan favorite.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA are a British rock band from York, North Yorkshire, consisting of guitarists Ben Bruce and Cameron Liddell, drummer James Cassells, lead vocalist Danny Worsnop, and bassist Sam Bettley.

Five Finger Death Punch - Jekyll And Hyde

The Las Vegas rockers FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH are back with a new video for their new crazy single "Jekyll and Hyde". The clip features the band members doing various nonsensical things, as they apparently created the video without consulting their record label, Prospect Park. The tune is taken from the upcoming album "Got Your Six". It is scheduled to be released on August 28, 2015

In This Moment - Whore

Female-fronted NY state metallers In This Moment have released a new music video, for the single “Whore” in its full cinematic splendour.  Directed by Robert Kley – who was also at the helm for the band’s Adrenalize and Blood videos – Whore co-stars Motionless In White frontman Chris Motionless.

“His look is so perfect for the dirty vintage feel of the video,” In This Moment frontwoman Maria Brink says of Motionless’ cameo, “and he was a perfect gentleman while being violated by me.”

“I knew how amazing placing the visual arts to ‘Whore’ would be when we wrote it,” she continues, “and I have been waiting to release this video since we recorded the song.”

In This Moment is an American heavy metal band from Albany, New York, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In late 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Pascual Romero, who in turn was quickly replaced by Jesse Landry. Landry was replaced by Kyle Konkiel in 2009 and Konkiel was replaced by Travis Johnson in 2010. Jeff Fabb and Blake Bunzel left the band in 2011, and were replaced by Tom Hane and Randy Weitzel respectively.

Todays tune "Whore" is taken from the fourth studio album "Blood". The album was released by Century Media on August 14, 2012. As has been the case with every In This Moment album, the record has a different sound, dropping many of the traditional metalcore elements in favor for electronic samples and further experimentation.

In This Moment - Adrenalize

Change. Some people welcome it. Others resist it. Some seek it out. Others fear the unknown. Sometimes it happens beyond our control. Whatever one’s mindset, change is inevitable. The challenge comes with how we face it and deal with the consequences.

For vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth, the duo at the heart of In This Moment, change came unexpectedly when they found themselves rebuilding the walls around their foundation. Stripped down to their essence, the core of In This Moment is on fire with their fourth album, aptly titled Blood.

Todays tune "Adrenalize" is the brand new video and single taken from the album "Blood", The band shot the video for 'Adrenalize' back in February. Vocalist Maria Brink stated: "There are no words to express how grateful I am for the creative process of shooting our new "Adrenalize"

video. It was a weekend long deal and so rewarding; by far our best video ever and best piece of visual art we have created! So excited for you all to see it and be a part of it! Big things are happening more every day!"

Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. They have performed on several notable tours and festivals including Ozzfest in 2007 and 2008, Warped Tour in 2009, Download Festival in 2009, Mayhem Festival in 2010 and the Music as a Weapon V tour in 2011.

'Blood' was one of the first two songs written for the upcoming album. It was written by bandmates Maria Brink and Chris Howorth along with longtime producer Kevin Churko and his son Kane. The song features Brinks intense vocals, heavy guitars and Electronica elements which gives the band a fresh new sound. The single was released to all digital retailers on June 12, 2012.

My first thought was Lady Gaga Goes Metal when I saw the video, judge for yourself.
