A new single by the classic rockers TYGERS OF PAN TANG. "Damn You!"; is the second single from the upcoming album "Ritual";, which will be released in November 2019. A great follow up to "White Lines" that shows that these guys still rocks the socks of most bands out there.
TYGERS OF PAN TANG are a heavy metal band, part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. They formed in 1978 in Whitley Bay, England, and were active until 1987. The band reformed in 1999 and continue to record and perform. The name is derived from Pan Tang, a fictional archipelago in Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné fantasy series whose wizards keep tigers as pets.
"Ritual" is the long-awaited new album after the self-titled comeback album from 2016, which sold more than 10,000 copies worldwide and re-established TYGERS OF PAN TANG as a permanent Metal & Rock star. This year the band already played at big festivals like the Rock Hard Festival. The new album is supported by an extensive European tour and support shows for SAXON. The tour and album will be supported by promotion, marketing and advertising in all relevant media. "White Lines"; is released as a limited 12"; vinyl edition with an exclusive B-side, which is a re-recording of the classic TYGERS song "Don't Touch Me There";, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. This new version includes guitar solos by TYGERS member Robb Weir, Micky Crystal as well as former TYGERS member and producer Fred Purser and producer Soren Andersen. TYGERS OF PAN TANG belong to the most influential New Wave Of British Heavy Metal bands along with SAXON, DIAMOND HEAD and DEF LEPPARD.
