Albin Myers & F.O.O.L - The Bastards Have Landed

Then it was again time to transform the stadium into a nightclub and invite the summer with this year Summerburst. A cool and pretty nice festival even if the music does not really appeal to me. This time I was involved in building the site at Stadion, a job that I enjoy, hard, yes, but this year's crew was as cruel so it went smoothly even though I'm not in the best shape right now :)

I will not be long-winded this time. I give you guys some pictures and some music from one of the artists that I thought stood out a bit and was the one who was a little tougher than the rest.

Albin Myers started making music already in his early teens, but the big breakthrough came only in 2009 when he did a remix of the Foo Fighters song "Times Like These." Since then he has toured around the world and had time to work with several big names such as David Guetta, Avicii, Erick Morillo and Tiësto. With his energetic DJ style, his expressions and punky songs like "Hells Bells", "The Beast" and "Bumbaclot" Albin Myers has conquered the big house scenes in the world.

Albin Myers played in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. If you haven’t yet seen him in action, you’re in for quite the treat – just look out for the mohawk, it’s hard to miss!

Foo Fighters - Walk

Im doing a break in Metaltown/WestCoastRiot videos, for,

FOO FIGHTERS
There they were, at the Stadion in Stockholm yesterday and they rocked!


Totally filled up, around 35 thousand waving hands..
I was standing as a Security Guard in the front of the catwalk.
I could hear David´s Breathing, got his sweat on me :p
With my eyes on the audience, it was a fantastic view to see all these singing happy people, David Grohl takes the best of u and wind it up even higher and bang there u go.


Marvelous gig, with all the great songs best, respons they got from the tune "Best Of You" from the album "In Your Honor" folks around sang the tune long after it ended :D

Although I am a metal girl, I totally adore Foo Fighters and hmm there is something special with that David Grohl, he is a huge being, damn it :

David Guetta - I Gotta Feeling (feat Black Eyed Peas)

Today is Sweden's National Day! It’s also The International Day of Slayer.

However…

Last Saturday was the festival day, Summerburst was held at Stockholm Stadium. The whole stadium was transformed into a huge nightclub and was filled with the DJs and audience all day. David Guetta was the headliner. But DJ's who Avicii, Eric Prydz, Dada Life, John Dahlback and Calvin Harris visited the scene.

The construction was done in a rocket speed, a bit shaky in between, but it was the first time so it's understandable, but the crew was experienced, so it went quite smoothly, everything was completed just before the admission. Was actually really fun there, the days were really long, but with nice colleagues, time runs fast, I feel, however, quite worn out now.

That this is not really my kind of bag, musically. So I did not see much, I heard quite enough, sometimes felt like Jim Carrey in the car scene for What Is Love:) Saw the last fifteen minutes of David Guetta, where the promised fireworks should be unleashed, it was actually pretty cool, light show that David had was indeed magnificent with lots of light patterns spiced with flames, reminding a bit of Kiss live:)

David Guetta is a French house music producer and DJ. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2001. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007). His 2009 album One Love included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over" (featuring Kelly Rowland), "Gettin' Over You" (featuring Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO) and "Sexy Bitch" (featuring Akon), the last becoming a top five hit in the US and all three reaching #1 in the UK, as well as another internationally known single called "Memories" featuring Kid Cudi which became a top five hit in many countries.
Guetta has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. He is currently one of the most sought-after music producers, having worked with a variety of pop and hip-hop artists including Kelly Rowland, The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Lil' Wayne, Kylie Minogue, Taio Cruz, Snoop Dogg and Madonna.


Todays tune "I Gotta Feeling" is the second single from The Black Eyed Peas' fifth studio album The E.N.D., produced by the French DJ David Guetta. The song was released on May 21, 2009. The tune is also appearing on David Guetta’s album ”One More Love” were we pick the first video from.

Kiss - Love Gun

This weekend we had some Kiss fever here in Sweden, with the Hottest band in the world, here for two shows, one in Stockholm(Saturday) and one in Malmö(Sunday), all this in the middle of the Love 2010 festival, so it suited just fine with a Kiss. I was based in Stockholm, Stadion and had a ruff but nice week.

Kiss rides in style.

The show in Stockholm also include two Swedish support bands, Mustasch and Europe witch i will come back to tomorrow. Kiss did of course a marvelous show with loads of effects like bangs, shoots and lightning effects (I wonder how much they spend on pyro at each show?) the show in total was pretty similar to the last time they visit Sweden, overall it was a ok show. It missed a few tunes that i would like to hear like "I Stole Your Love", "Strutter", "Rocket Ride"

A funny thing was that a friend of mine that works as a tech with Europe only did this gig to be able to make a call to his friends in Hellacopters and Backyard Babies (all of the guys are huge fans of Kiss) to say to them that now Kiss is entering the stage and i am leaving :) - He do not like Kiss!
