Knei - Vieja Mujer (Besos De Otros Días)

"III" is the third release from the Buenos Aires, Argentina based rock band KNEI. A country that has recently seen a resurgence in its music scene. It's not so common that a band from Argentina gets a chance to break through the dense stream of music that just pours over into the digital world in which we live.

KNEI was formed 2006 and has released three albums, "La Puera Del Sol" (2011) and "Juventud De La Gran Ciudad" (2016) and the latest one "III" (2019). The sound of the band is oriented to 70's rock n roll, well balance psychedelia and arrangements of progressive with rock blues and jazz-like touches.

The power trio consists of:
Nicolas Lippoli (guitar/vocals),
Mauro Lopez (bass),
Roberto Figueroa (drums).

"III" was record on a tape with a Ampex MM1200 Recorder, mixed and mastered in API Console in Estudio El Attic, released June 7, 2019

Today's tune "Vieja Mujer (Besos De Otros Días)", taken from the album "III", enjoy!

Helker - Empty Room

The Argentina’s first and foremost Heavy/Power Metal band HELKER, have release their new album “Firesoul” on May 5th 2017.

Formed 1998 in Buenos Aires, Argentina by guitar player Mariano Ríos and bassist Christian Abarca, the current HELKER line-up features guitar player Leo Aristu, drummer Hernán Coronel and one of the today’s finest metal singers - Diego Valdez. HELKER is widely considered as the leading South American heavy metal band to emerge from Argentina. Since their start HELKER released three highly respected albums in their native language, “Legado Secreto” in 2001, “Resistir” in 2008 and “A.D.N.” in 2010; these albums helped a lot to build up a loyal fan-base not only by Argentina’s metal fans.

Since their beginning, HELKER was one of the most active live bands in South America and toured with PRIMAL FEAR,  HAMMERFALL, STRATOVARIUS, GAMMA RAY, SHAMAN, SINNER, MASTERPLAN and many more across Argentina and its neighboring countries.

When HELKER played with PRIMAL FEAR in Buenos Aires, PRIMAL FEAR mastermind Mat Sinner was so amazed by the band, that he produced their first album in English language „Somewhere In The Circle“, which was released 2013 via AFM Records.

"Firesoul“ was also released in a Spanish version “Alma De Fuego” (which will be available digital only).

The album was mixed and mastered by Achim Köhler (AMON AMARTH, SODOM, PRIMAL FEAR, BRAINSTORM) at Indiscreet Audio. Produced by Mat Sinner.

Los Natas - El Bosero

Sunday, time for a classic, this time we fly, the distance is 12,501.0 kilometers and flight time is approximately 14 hours and 43 min! In this wonderful country Argentina we find the Spanish stoner band Los Natas.

Formed in the mid-‘90's in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Los Natas put the second largest South American nation on the world's stoner rock map almost single-handedly.

Their musical influences are numerous and varied, having the base of the raw and psychedelic sound of 70's bands such as The Doors, Black Sabbath, The Who, Pink Floyd and Hawkwind, among others. Los Natas propose a journey made of basic elements: valvular equipment and vintage instruments, they incorporate the use of the senses and perception of the listener as a part of a sonic trip. They make music that changes constantly, supported by long jams that give them a different meaning every time they execute them having that way a sense of freedom in the way of interpreting the sounds, making this experience extremely related to the sensations that both the musicians and the audience receive every time a show begins.

Since 1998, the music industry noticed the existence of bands with this musical influences spread around the globe. The scene was growing with the edition of CDs and LPs emerging as a new culture under global codes: the same love for music and the sound. As an answer to the mainstream it began this new trend under the name of stoner rock. Nowadays the sound and music of Natas goes beyond this classification, with the incorporation of Argentine folk instruments and the creation of ambiance which makes the classification of the band in one genre very difficult.

Todays tune "El Bosero" is taken from the album "El Hombre Montaña".
