Friday and it's Valentine's Day, it's celebrated annually on February 14. It originated as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus and is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world.
Today I send my love to my family, kids and my beloved wife and of course all the readers of the site.
So to step out from the normal comfort zone and offer a version of a tune by a classic rocker like Tommy Nilsson is nothing you do every day. But Tommy who is known as the great singer behind TALK OF THE TOWN did a solo thing back in the day and one of his biggest love tunes was "Öppna Din Dörr" (in English: "Open Your Door") is a song written by Tommy Nilsson, and released as a single from his 1994 album, "En Kvinnas Man" (A Woman's Man). The single peaked at number 2 in Sweden and number 10 in Norway.
In 2016 Jill Johnson performed the song in English, as "Open Your Heart", during "Så Mycket Bättre" and that is the version I have chosen for today's tune. Jill is out touring atm were a few of my friends are assisting her with the technique. Enjoy today's tune and send some love to your closest.

Today it's the Valentines day, so let's play a love tune for all the love ones out there. This one is for my beloved half. So Happy Valentine's day all!
"When Love & Hate Collide" is a power ballad by British rock band DEF LEPPARD from their 1995 greatest hits album Vault, written by Joe Elliott and Rick Savage. It was originally written and demoed for "Adrenalize", but not finalized until 1995 for its inclusion on Vault. The demo version is much more heavily produced in the signature style of "Hysteria" and "Adrenalize", and the final version is more stripped down, supposedly toward the style of the following studio album "Slang". The original demo version contains the final recorded guitar solo by late original guitarist Steve Clark. "When Love & Hate Collide" became one of the most successful singles in their homeland, where it reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Charts, but it failed to make a significant impact in the U.S. charts, reaching #58 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song was re-released as a digital download on February 12th, 2013.
In 2008, the song was re-recorded this time with featured vocals of American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The original version was re-released as a digital download on 12 February 2013. See the Video below.
DEF LEPPARD will hit the road this summer, see all the dates below.
So today's tune is "When Love & Hate Collide", enjoy!

Valentines day, a day when you date your sweetheart, give her flowers, buy her a gift, diamond ring, chocolate and dinner.
I have booked table at a very good restaurant where we will spend this evening, eating good food, drink something really good and keep the romance at the top :)
Todays't tune “Love You to Death” is a tune by TYPE O NEGATIVE, With lyrics about a man trying to prove himself as a worthy lover, the late Peter Steele wrote many dark songs with themes of romance, depression and death, leading the band to be nicknamed “The Drab Four.”
The tune is taken from the fourth studio album "October Rust". It was released in 1996. The album has more ballads and less of the doom metal sound of previous or subsequent albums. It also features a much heavier cover of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl."
It is the first of the band's albums with a "joke intro"; in this case, the intro, "Bad Ground", is 38 seconds of low-level buzzing, meant to sound as if the listener's speakers are incorrectly plugged in. The second and fifteenth tracks are humorous untitled intros and outros to the album, respectively, with the band downplaying the recording of the album. Another production technique employed on the album is the use of very abrupt endings and segues to a few of the songs, like "Green Man", "Red Water" and "Haunted".
