Queensryche - Hellfire

QUEENSRŸCHE have released a music video for their song "Hellfire", which spotlights the Malaysian passenger flight crisis in 2014.

Speaking about the influence and subject matter for the clip, QUEENSRŸCHE vocalist Todd La Torre said: “‘Hellfire’ is a depiction primarily based on the tragic events surrounding the Malaysian airline flight MH17. Despite the storyline’s foundation, the lyrical and visual narrative transcends into other pertinent, global subject matters. Civil unrest, guerrilla warfare, media propaganda, and social inequalities are just some examples of the multifaceted issues marbled throughout ‘Hellfire’. A poignant illustration of an unfortunate yet timeless reality.”

The band’s name is uttered in the same breath as many of the groups they looked to as influences and others who arose as peers. QUEENSRŸCHE built a dedicated legion of fans traveling the globe on tour with fellow rock giants like IRON MAIDEN, GUNS N’ ROSES, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST and DEF LEPPARD. In recent years, they’ve consistently delivered high-octane live shows combining the hungry fire of a new band with the tempered experience of master showmen. Even with eleven gold and platinum plaques and several Top 10 hard rock anthems woven into the very fiber of the genre, QUEENSRŸCHE won’t relent. In fact, they are in the throes of a jaw-dropping creative resurgence.

Today's tune "Hellfire" is taken from the bands fifteenth studio album "Condition Hüman". The album was released on October 2, 2015 through Century Media.

Queensrÿche - Guardian

For about two years ago we got 2 releases with QUEENSRŸCHE, one with the original singer Geoff Tate, who was fired from the band and lost the rights to the name after a two-year lawsuit about who would get the rights to the QUEENSRŸCHE brand was amicably settled. The other one was with the original band but with the new vocalist Todd La Torre. The albums "Frequency Unknown" and eponymous "Queensrÿche" that got released almost at the same time around June 2013.

"Frequency Unknown" vs eponymous "Queensrÿche". Who won last times fight over the band name QUEENSRŸCHE, well the one with Geoff Tate ("Frequency Unknown") was like an heavy anchor that have turned sour for some time. But the other one, the eponymous "Queensrÿche" with the new singer was pretty ok, Todd La Torre sounds more Geoff Tate than Geoff Tate himself.

Now again we have these two against each other. This time it's the "Key" (September 18) vs "Condition Hüman" (October 2)!

A taste from the "Key" you got served yesterday, some thoughts? Today it's fresh taste from "Condition Hüman" is the upcoming fifteenth studio album by American progressive heavy metal band Queensrÿche, due to be released on October 2, 2015 through Century Media. It is also the second studio album recorded with vocalist Todd La Torre.

Todays tune "Guardian", taken from the upcoming album "Condition Hüman", what do u think, listen, judge and comment.
