MckNasty - Kemet

The British Josh Mcknasty is well known for the infectious energy he brings to any stage he steps on, as a drummer and as a musical director to others artists.

He has previously been tasked with bringing to life the studio recordings of TINIE TEMPAH, WRETCH 32, LION BABE, STORMZY and recently Eliza and Keziah Jones, to name a few, as MD he sets high expectations, of commitment to detail and the story of each piece of music. Now as Arranger/Producer on his own material he continues with the same drive, not necessarily in pursuit of perfection but always pushing to emote the listener and infuse them with the energy of the Music, and its undeniable ... he is one of the best at this and seeing him live is only further evidence, fusing his Jazz prowess with all his influences of Gospel, Hip-Hop, Afro-Beats, Grime and love of lush Disney-esque string arrangements a new definition of Jazz Fusion is in the hands of one of the most passionate musicians you will find.

He's also the drummer for NAUGHTY BOYs live band and plays alongside two of his siblings. He is the older brother of Labrinth. And best known for his work with Kamaal Williams.
