Turbowolf - Captain Caveman

Today, I was simply inspired twice, first by a blog colleague "Spaderess" who is running a very interesting series on his blog called "One can not deny a good song ..." The serie is based on an original song, how the song over time has changed and other artists perception and approach turned into, can be both good and bad, sometimes completely horrible ... haha​​.

The other inspiration I got was a the news about Turbowolfs upcoming EP where they exploring the weird and wonderful world of music. The EP contains little odd but interesting selection of songs which include Swedish The Hives song "See Through Head" other tracks are "Electric Feel" (MGMT), Captain Caveman (Lightning Bolt) and Somebody To Love (Jefferson Airplane). Released at the start of October to coincide with their UK headline tour, the 4 track EP is available on LIMITED EDITION marbled green coloured 12" vinyl or on a simple card packaged CD.

Turbowolf is a rock band founded in Bristol, UK whose members include Chris Georgiadis (Vocals / Synth), Andy Ghosh (Guitar), Joe Baker (Bass) & Blake Davies (Drums). They released their debut album (titled Turbowolf) on 11/11/11 on Hassle Records. The media have so far struggled to categorise the band's music, partly due to their diverse influences. However, their sound contains elements of rock & roll, psychedelia, heavy metal, punk rock and electronica.

So with "Spaderess" series and news about EP became quite identical, so "we hit two mouses with one stone" and play a cover.

So todays tune is just BATSHIT CRAZY. Turbowolf’s cover of Lightning Bolt’s "Captain Caveman" and it’s just as insane as their version of this classic track.

After this tour we won't be playing any shows for a long time, we're gonna go into hiding to write the next album. So this is your last chance to see us rip it up before we vanish.
