AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie
AC/DC returns to Sweden!! AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although the band are commonly classified as hard rock and are considered a pioneer of heavy metal, they have always classified their music as rock and roll.
AC/DC have been visiting Sweden 2 times last year, did 2 sold out evenings at The Globe in Stockholm and 1 sold out show at Ullevi on Gothenburg. AC/DC will be back again, they will do a show at Stadion in Stockholm the 3:rd june.
Todays tune "Whole Lotta Rosie". It is on the band's fourth album, "Let There Be Rock", released in Australia in March 1977, released as a single in 1978. The song is about an obese woman, Rosie, with whom the singer (Bon Scott) has had sexual relations. In addition to pointing out the woman's obesity, the singer finds her to be one of the most talented lovers he's ever experienced.
Current live performances of "Whole Lotta Rosie" are accompanied by a giant, inflatable "Rosie". Rosie can also be seen during the cartoon intro video currently being played on the Black Ice World Tour.
This is the music video for the song "Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC, form the album "Let There Be Rock". The video was made in 1978. It can be found on the DVD "Family Jewels".
