DevilDriver - Pray For Villains

Devildriver is an American groove metal band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 2002. Consists of Coal Chamber vocalist Dez Fafara, guitarists Mike Spreitzer and Jeff Kendrick, bass player Jon Miller and on drums John Boecklin. Together they formed Deathride but due to copyright issues and the name being taken by several bands, Deathride changed its name to DevilDriver, which refers to bells Italian witches used to drive evil forces away.

The band embarked on several tours including Ozzfest and a Guinness world record was attempted at the 2007 Download Festival for the "largest circle pit" and again at Download Festival 2009. Atm DevilDriver is on tour with the Neckbreakers Ball concept, that include the bands Behemoth, Scar Symmetry and Arsis. They visit Klubben / Stockholm on the Nov. 19.

This week has been full of metal bands of all kind and todays its even more heavier and we finish off tomorrow with a real headbang, but more of that tomorrow ofc.

Todays tune, "Pray for Villains" is the title track from the fourth studio album by DevilDriver, released on July 14th, 2009. Enjoy!
