Zodiac - Follow You

"Follow You" is the second single taken from the upcoming fourth full length album "Grain Of Soul" by the fourpiece riff-laden rock band ZODIAC. The album is recorded, mixed, and produced by Arne Neurand (GUANO APES, etc.) at Horus Sound Studio in Hannover, and mastered by Grammy Award winning Jean-Pierre Chalbos (GOJIRA, etc) at La Source Mastering in Paris.

The band was formed in 2010 by singer-guitarist Nick Van Delft and Long Distance Calling drummer Janosch Rathmer. Stephan Gall and Robert Kahr joined shortly after to complete the line-up before Ruben Claro replaced Kahr in 2012. The band are heavily influenced by rock and blues music from the 1970s and it adds to the theme and style of their own music.

"Follow You" is a focused and obscenely relaxed tune, with a big melody. Looking forward to grab my hands on the album when it's out, the set release date is Jul 29, 2016.

Zodiac - A Penny And A Dead Horse

The Münster/Germany-based blues rock four-piece band ”Zodiac", in many respects, embarks on new terrain.

This is Rock music as it could hardly be more pure and multi-faceted. The new album Sonic Child by Zodiac could neither assign to a specific era of music history nor a narrow-minded specified style. The songs on Sonic Child are traditional and versatile, have strong riffs and driving drums, are affected by a well-tempered influence of the blues, with a carefully selected degree of hardness at any time.

Frontman Nick van Delft is the focus of the enjoyable hustle and bustle, telling of little adventures and grand gestures. Some of it seems to be located in the desert of Arizona (Penny And The Dead Horse) (”Todays tune btw”), whereas others seems to be in the cotton fields on the banks of the Mississippi River (Rock Bottom Blues). Zodiac showcases the best statement on their artistic visions at the very end: "Just Music". Yes, that's the point here & nothing else!

Band line-Up:
Nick Van Delft - Vocals & Lead Guitar
Stephan Gall - Rhythm Guitar
Janosch Rathmer - Drums & Percussion
Ruben Claro - Bass & Organ
