Avantasia - Mystery of a Blood Red Rose

Ghostlights is the seventh full-length album by Tobias Sammet's rock opera project AVANTASIA. It was released on 29 January 2016. The opening track, today's tune and first single "Mystery of a Blood Red Rose" is a candidate for the German representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, along with nine other songs. 

The song was between the three songs competing in the final of "Unser Lied für Stockholm". In the final round, "Mystery of a Blood Red Rose" received 21.6% of the public vote, finishing in third place. The song "Ghost", performed by Jamie-Lee, was chosen as the German representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

The Digibook Edition of the album includes a bonus track and a bonus CD entitled AVANTASIA Live, which features songs recorded during AVANTASIAs 2014 performance at Wacken Open Air and 2013 performance at Masters of Rock.

AVANTASIA is a German symphonic power metal supergroup project created by Tobias Sammet, vocalist of the band Edguy. It has been characterised as a rock opera, as it features various vocalists and musicians and it consists of concept albums. The name is a portmanteau of the words "avalon" and "fantasia" ("fantasy") and describes "a world beyond human imagination" (a quotation from the booklet).

Sunday and Nostalgic trippies :D
This band was enormous biggish in my youth, I loved em´.
Electric Light Orchestra was formed by Roy Wood and Jeff Lynn, Wood left and Lynne created the most of the tune in ELO after that.

They come from Birmingham, England but they are more known in the US. By the mid-1970s, they had become one of the biggest-selling acts in music. From 1972 to 1986, ELO accumulated 27 Top-40 hit singles in both the UK and the US.

They Released 13 albums and on the last 2001 album named "Zoom" they had Ringo Starr and George Harrison as guests musicians.

Camel - Snow Goose

In the end 70´s I encounter a band named Camel.
A bit different than the other rock band I used to listen to
under this time, such as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin.
I went on a concert in Stockholm with em,
awesome concert loved every bit of it.
Was swimming around in another world and time too for that matter.



Then today someone mentioned them again, and I thought wow
yeah Camel, that was some time ago.
They still exist although its only Andrew Latimer that
still are there from the beginning.

They done 14 studio albums and several live album
and 7 dvd´s and the latest dvd was done 2007.

"Music Inspired by The Snow Goose"
Its the third album released by the band Camel in 1975. The success of the White Rider suite (based on J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and appearing on the band's previous album, Mirage), inspired the group to write more novel-inspired conceptual suites.
