Babymetal - Megitsune

Japan, is an interesting country, with their history, customs, cuisine and music. There are many great music acts originated from Japan, including all the music styles, Japan has created a lot of "strange" things in our eyes / ears, but are huge over there.

Personally, I think it can be fun with this, but I am simply too old to go into this! Or what do you say? Today's band is one of the newer ones that is Huge in Japan, and is beginning to spread across the world.

BABYMETAL was formed in 2010. Their major debut single “ Ijme, dame, zettai" along with 2nd single “Megistune" both ranked in the Top 10 Oricon chart in Japan. In March 2014, they took to the stage of Nippon Budokan for a 2-Days gig making them the youngest female act to ever perform there. Their 1st studio album BAYBMETAL made it into the US Billboard chart. In summer of the same year, they embarked on their first World Tour, performing on the Main Stage at UK’s prodigious festival Sonisphere Festival 2014 in front of 65,000 festival goers, and supporting Lady Gaga on her “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” 2014 Tour. In fall they were back for additional headline shows in Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City and O2 Academy Brixton, London. In January 2015, they headlined a show at the 20,000 capacities Saitama Super Arena, and in June 2015, they headlined a show at the 25,000 capacities Makuhari Messe. In summer of 2015, BABYMETAL received awards from prominent UK music magazines “Kerrang!” and “METAL HAMMER”. They then performed in front of a staggering 90,000 people at the prestigious Reading and Leeds Festival in August. This December, BABYMETAL are to take the stage again for 2 consecutive days at Japan’s Yokohama Arena pulling a total of 26,000 people before returning to the UK in April 2016 to headline London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley. BABYMETAL's ‘Metal Resistance’ is rapidly expanding across the globe.

The album was first released on February 26, 2014 under Toy's Factory in Japan, in several editions, regular and limited. The limited edition comes with a bonus DVD containing video clips and live footage from Summer Sonic Festival 2013. It reached the 4th place on Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 37,463 copies during the first week.

BABYMETAL consist of:

SU-METAL (Vocal,Dance)
YUIMETAL (Scream,Dance)

Today's tune "Megitsune" (メギツネ?, "Vixen") is the second major label single by the band Babymetal. It was released in Japan on June 19, 2013 as the fifth single from the album "Babymetal". It is also the first single released independently from the idol group Sakura Gakuin.

The single was released in four versions: limited "Ki", "Tsu", and "Ne" (Kitsune means "fox" in Japanese) editions and a standard edition. The DVDs included in the limited editions feature footage from each of the live performances from Live: Legend I, D, Z Apocalypse

D'espairsRay - Bullet

D'espairsRay is a Japanese rock band formed in 1999 by Hizumi, Karyu, Zero and Tsukasa. The lineup has since remained the same.
On March 11, 2009 a new album REDEEMER was released.

A few days ago did they visit Sweden for a gig @ Klubben/Stockholm.
As always when there is a J-Rock band coming you can see the fans tenting outside for days just to get in first, its amazing to see.
A little notice from that day was that Karyu's pedal board was broke and it needed to be fixed, so i took a trip with it to Roland Scandinavia to get it fixed and a hour later it worked again, was some short cuts and cable errors.
Anyway he got happy and could do the sound check.

Hola these guys surly can rock, i must say that these fellows is one of the
best J-Rock bands i heard so far. It was a great show indeed, was really lucky to be able to shoot some stuff got one picture for you guys :)
