Eva Dahlgren - Jag är gud

Had a bizzy weekend, went down to Gothenburg and prepared a gig two days ago and then yesterday i helped to arranged and took care of the stagehands on it. It was a nice bunch of Stagehand, handpicked by me. Love to work woth competent people.

Then directly when I came home I eate and runned to my childrens Halloween party Pweeew :D

This artist is from Stockholm. Eva Dahlgren came down to Gothenburg and did a great gig.
She is quite a big star here in Sweden, doing slow or tunes with much energy and emotions in.
She sings in Swedish and the lyrics are very deep and thoughtable. I find that very attracting!

She is damn tall, taller than me and im frecking tall 1,82 cm(Im 5.9) Eva is 2,03 cm, ( 6.6 ) haha cool huh :D She was born 1960 in North of Sweden, but was bought up in Lund then Vendelsö then Nynäshamn, which is near to Stockholm. She have done 17 albums.

She is married to a another woman/artist called Efva Attling.

Laleh - Ängeln I Rummet

Sunday again, time for a classic. Today's Tune "Ängeln i rummet" (Swedish for "Angel in the Room"), is a single released by Swedish singer Eva Dahlgren from the 1989 album Fria Världen 1.989. Eva Dahlgren released through BMG and Big Mama Music. Peaking at number four in 1989, it is her highest charting song ever, tied with "Vem tänder stjärnorna" in 1991. The song won a Grammis for Song of the Year. Dahlgren also performs an English version of the song called "Angel in My Room".

In 2011, Iranian-Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh participated in the Swedish television show "Så mycket bättre" (so much better), which sees a number of artists create new interpretations of the others songs. Her performances on the show were lauded by both critics and the public. Following the show, it was noted in the media that she had been given "a second breakthrough".

"Ängeln I Rummet" is not officially released as a single by Laleh, the song was available digitally in Sweden as part of the weekly compilations that accompanied the series, on 6 November 2011, released by Universal Music Sweden in conjunction with TV4. It was later included on her extended play of all of the interpretations included on the show, titled Tolkningarna on 25 December 2011, released by Lost Army and Warner Music Sweden. Furthermore Tolkningarna was released as a bonus disc on the physical versions of Laleh's fourth studio album, Sjung, released on 25 January 2012.

So today I choose Laleh's version, were she reworked Dahlgren's slow intimate pop ballad and created a synth-driven upbeat indie pop song. The end result is very good. Enjoy!
