Saturday, that vibe and mood changes alot these times, atm Im in a softish singer songwriter and jazzy time. Good or bad for the blog, well dunno really, will see how things works out. But I guess you have to live with my changes music vise.
For today we have a remarkably talented Danish singer songwriter and guitarist named Ginne Marker.
The debut album "For Seasons To Come" was released in November 2019 and is a jazzy vocal/singer-songwriter piece that works great on a Saturday like this. Ginne Marker was born in Aalborg, Denmark and started playing guitar at age 11. The music is highly original yet rooted in the tradition of standard jazz. If a comparison was to be made an artist like Melody Gardot and Norah Jones pops into mind. Ginne showcases the same naturally gifted flow in performance and both guitar playing and singing are heart-melting and executed in a warm and charming way.
Today's tune "For Seasons To Come", is the title tune from her debut album. Enjoy!
