Meshuggah - Bleed

Meshuggah is a Swedish five-piece experimental metal band formed in 1987. Meshuggah's line-up has primarily consisted of founding members vocalist Jens Kidman and lead guitarist Fredrik Thordendal, drummer Tomas Haake, who joined in 1990, and rhythm guitarist Mårten Hagström, who joined in 1994. The band has gone through a number of bassists, but the position has been held by Dick Lövgren since 2004.

Meshuggah is the last of the bands from the Sonisphere festival on tune of the day for this time, there were some other band, but there are other things that is coming up. The Sonisphere festival was a great weekend indeed with alot of nice music in diffrent style a good mixture if i can say so. The festival was setup on well used ground as the week before was used for "Hultsfreds Festivalen"
I was able to hear most of the bands like Mastodon that gave a hell of a show with thier nice mixture of progressive metal, The Cult with thier retro rock and Ian in a very good mood and shape, his voice was marvelous, The Hives did also well.
Primal Scream showed that they still rock and Bobby singed like never before, great show even if most of the crowd had moved over to the main stage to wait for the final number and the band Metallica as Thetania said yesterday, it was a marvelous night with a superb band.
And not to forget Meshuggah with larsa on the electric stuff did a great show, Tomas and the rest of the boys really delivered thier stuff well cooled and showed the crowd where the cabinet should stand.
Todays tune is taken from Meshuggah´s 6th and latest album "obZen"
"If you haven't figured it out yet, obZen means that mankind has found its 'zen' in the obscure and obscene"
