"Thank You" is a song by the English rock band LED ZEPPELIN from their second studio album "Led Zeppelin II" (1969). It was written by Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, and produced by Page.
In a retrospective review of "Led Zeppelin II" (Deluxe Edition) (2014), Michael Madden of Consequence of Sound praised the remastering of "Thank You", believing the track now sounds "mellow and well-balanced". Madden further praised the remastering, writing the track "breathes easy during the verses and ascends elsewhere in the song", along with "illuminating Page's touch and Bonham's haymakers". When reviewing the added bonus tracks of the Deluxe Edition, Madden further praised the new version of "Thank You", titled "Thank You (Backing Track)", writing the track "magnifies the song's tasteful sheen, popping with Bonham’s drums and Jones' organ, which seems to have a mind of its own.
The American singer-songwriter and musician Tori Amos record a great piano cover on this tune, released on the UK EP "Crucify". It was released as the fifth single from her debut studio album "Little Earthquakes", on May 12, 1992, by Atlantic Records in North America and on June 8 by EastWest Records in the UK.
The tune was also released as a live clip on her "Live at Montreux 1991/1992", a live album and DVD set, released on September 22, 2008 in the United Kingdom and on September 30, 2008 in the United States, featuring two separate performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival early in her career. The first 10-song set was recorded on July 3, 1991 with the second 9-song set recorded one year later on July 7, 1992. "Ocean To Ocean" is the sixteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Tori Amos, released on October 29, 2021. A vinyl release followed on January 28, 2022. Amos will support the album with a US tour in April and June 2022, with a yet to be announced Europe tour to follow.

Unrepentant Geraldines is the fourteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter and pianist Tori Amos. The album, available on standard CD/digital download, a limited edition CD+DVD, and two disc vinyl LP, was released in Germany on May 9, 2014.
Todays tune "Trouble’s Lament" is taken from the latest album "Unrepentant Geraldines". The accompanying music video was shot on location in London, featuring Amos in a diner in Islington with different people, and driving around the city at night in a yellow car.
Musically, the song is influenced by different musical styles, including Americana, folk music, Flamenco and pop music. Amos' piano playing is accompanied by acoustic guitar and sparse percussion. The instrumentation is similar to the music of Neko Case, Patty Griffin, Fleetwood Mac and Amos' own past production on the predominantly acoustic Scarlet's Walk (2002).
The song's lyrics finds Amos stating that "Trouble needs a home" after having left Satan behind, and sings about welcoming Danger into her life.
Of the song's style and background, Amos (who is originally from North Carolina) stated that her Southern roots were influential: "It's really in the blood. It's almost like you listen to the land speaking to you. And wherever I am I can hear the South calling me. I really like the idea that trouble was a young woman....I see her on my travels a lot. And maybe I knew her many years ago when I was in my twenties."
