The Swedish melodic death metal dudes in Amon Amarth visits Tune Of The Day with a new video of the title tune "Deceiver of the Gods", taken from the ninth studio album, released in June 19 2013.
The title of the album and its artwork were revealed on April 12, 2013 and the title song was released on the band's homepage a day later, available for streaming or as a free download. A video for the song was released in September 2014.

The album was recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, UK between
January and March 2013. Acclaimed producer Andy Sneap (Opeth, Megadeth,
Killswitch Engage) produced, mixed, and mastered Deceiver of the Gods.
Cover art was, once again, completed by Tom Thiel, and is revealed
across three panels, the center of which is the cover of the album. Fans
will also recognize a guest appearance on this album: Messiah Marcolin
(ex-Candlemass) provides guest vocals for the eighth song, Hel.
Amon Amarth is a melodic death metal band from Tumba, Sweden, founded in 1992. It takes its name from the Sindarin name of Mount Doom, a volcano in J. R. R. Tolkien′s Middle-earth. Their lyrics mostly deal with the Vikings, their mythology and their history. The band comprises vocalist Johan Hegg, guitarists Olavi Mikkonen and Johan Söderberg, bassist Ted Lundström and drummer Fredrik Andersson. Amon Amarth has released nine studio albums, one compilation album, one EP, one video album, and eight music videos.
