Bring Me The Horizon - Sleepwalking

Monday, time to crown this week's album and a little report from a show last week. Two in one!

Walls of Death! Circle pits! General chaos! That's exactly what awaited when Bring Me The Horizon and Your Dimise visited Sweden last week, a show in Gothenburg on May 11th and Tyrol in Stockholm on May 16th. It's was a hell of a show, what a ride!

This weeks Record Of The Week "Sempiternal" is the fourth studio album by British metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 1 April 2013. It is the first album to feature keyboardist Jordan Fish and was believed to be the last album to feature guitarist Jona Weinhofen. However, Weinhofen's role within the album's development has been faced with controversy.

Written and recorded throughout 2012, Sempiternal showed the band pool diverse influences from electronic music, ambient music and pop. "Sempiternal" is an archaic English word denoting the concept of "everlasting time" that can never actually come to pass. It stems from the Latin word "sempiternus" (a concatenation of root "semper" and suffix "aeternum"). The album's cover art is a depiction of the Flower of Life.

The album has thus far spawned two singles ("Shadow Moses" and "Sleepwalking"). Sempiternal is a very powerful album and well energized. It's very noticeable electronic presence. In short, "Sempiternal" is an excellent album that really shows what Bring Me the Horizon can do and that they can innovate without losing something along the way.

Todays tune "Sleepwalking" is the 2:nd single taken from "Sempiternal", the video is directed by Aniceideaeveryday
