Dan Reed - Im So Sorry

Dan Reed (born February 17, 1963, Portland, Oregon) Dan Reed actively toured Europe and the U.S. during the second half of 2008 and continues to do so in 2009. Selections from these live, solo acoustic shows appear on An Evening With Dan Reed, available at shows and at his official website. Coming Up for Air, a new solo album by Reed, is scheduled for release in Mars 2010. Yesterday Dan visit Västerås for a gig at Sigurdsgatan 25 and yes i was there. It was a happy Dan who entred the stage together with Tommy Denander (who is a guitarrist and producer who has been involved with with artists like: Eric Clapton, Paul Stanley, Toto, Michael McDonald, B.B. King or Fee Waybill, just to name some of them.) and Bengan Jonasson on bass. It was a great evening with Dan and nice to meet up with some great friends. The set list for tonight included some classic Dan Reed Network material as ("Ritual", "Stronger Than Steel", "I'm So Sorry", "Rainbow Child", "Get To You", "Lover") to some of the new material from the forthcoming album ("Coming Up For Air", "Losing My Fear"). It was a magic performance from Dan, he truley enjoyed to be on stage and deliver his music, many stories was told and of course some nice jokes too. Dan will come back in Mars next year to perform again but then with a full band and i'm really looking forward for that moment.

Got a few pictures from yesterday. First one, taken with my Canon :) and also one with my compact to show off Tommy on the guitar.

Todays tune is taken from Dan Reed Networks debut record and this is a recording when dan is out on his acoustic tour. "NYC on this bitter cold Thursday night on February 5th 2009" performing "I'm So Sorry" the quality of this video is superb! Sound and Visual! Enjoy!

Dan will perform today at Mortens Krog in Uddevalla and on Friday at Henriksberg, Stigbergsliden 7, Göteborg, Go and watch him if you live near by, you won't regret it.
