Feeder - Universe of Life

"All Bright Electric" is the forthcoming ninth studio album by the Welsh rock band FEEDER. It is set to be released on October 7, 2016. Two singles were released from the album, "Universe of Life" and "Eskimo".

On July 4 2016, the band released a short video announcing the dates of a September-October tour, along with a teaser of an upcoming song. On July 15, 2016, the band announced the new album. On the same day, they premiered the album's lead single, "Universe of Life". Grant Nicholas commented on the album: "I wanted the album to really capture FEEDERs heart and soul. For us the journey the music takes the listener on is still so important, and that is what still drives me to make the best music we can" and described its recording sessions "exciting as making our first album "Polythene"".

On August 25, 2016, the band released the track "Eskimo", along with a music video accompanying the release. Grant has said that the track "is a song about a journey of self discovery. We are always looking for the right path in life in which to take and are often casualties of our own misguidance and inner demons." In addition, he said that "We really wanted a trippy, almost psychedelic style video to capture the groove and darker spirit of the song; a modern twist on the 60’s psychedelia imagery with the band more in silhouette." It was also announced that FEEDER would headline the RFL Grand Final at Old Trafford, playing to an estimated 75,000 people on October 8th, 2016.

FEEDER are a Welsh rock band formed 1992 in Newport, Wales. They have released eight studio albums, three compilations, two EPs, and 34 singles.

The new album is going to be released as Limited Edition 180g Heavyweight Gatefold Coloured Vinyl, featuring three bonus tracks. This Vinyl LP includes a digital download version of the album redeemable on day of release. Hurry and you will get it signed!

FEEDERs music has been inspired by a wide variety of artists and styles, including THE POLICE, NIRVANA and THE SMASHING PUMPKINS. Their early material showcased a heavy rock sound reminiscent of grunge, but the band would later introduce more acoustic aspects into their music, including elements of pianos and string orchestras.

The band was formed under the name of REEL by vocalist and guitarist Grant Nicholas, drummer Jon Lee and bassist Simon Blight, three of the four members of RAINDANCER, after the departure of that band's other member, guitarist John Canham. However, Blight left REEL later in 1992, and the band played with many session bassists before hiring Taka Hirose in 1995, a year after the band signed with The Echo Label.

Today's tune "Universe of Life" is taken from the upcoming album "All Bright Electric", "FEEDER" are back in scintillating style". At first when I heard this tune I thought about FAIR TO MIDLAND, similar but not them, but close, god I miss them, anyway, enjoy this, as it's good!
