Here are some pictures and a short recap from Sweden Rock Festival:
Old guys but still rockin!
The band did a pretty decent performance!
Better than i thought it would be live, Amorphis rocked.
Axel Rudi Pell
A man who has plenty of his own material plays covers, wtf, really boring.
Good live as always, never get disappointed on these guys.
Danko Jones "JC"
Mmm sounded really good.
Well, i prefer Helloween.
This was prolly the 5,11th time i have seen Graveyard live, good oh yes.
Nice meeting with this guys, got swing live.
Great, great, great.
Michael Schenker Group
Well, could have been more fun.
Pentagram - Bobby Liebling
This is a really cool dude, chatted with him at the hotel, to bad that i missed the gig.
Oh, never can get enough of this live.
Sebastian Bach & Dee Snider
Kinda cool live, nice mix when Dee arrived.
Heavy, but that's about it.
Hmm, not really my cup of tea. But a lot of sex, tits and pussy.
Soundgarden was the main act on Thursday night. With a sneaking intro, great lighting and an ok sound, do the guys step on stage. Sounds great, but feels dark, slightly depressive vibe I get. But really fun to experience them live, I'm happy. Do not watch the entire show because I had other things to do, more on that tomorrow.
Soundgarden is an American grunge band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1984 by singer Chris Cornell, lead guitarist Kim Thayil, and bassist Hiro Yamamoto. Matt Cameron became the band's full time drummer in 1986, while bassist Ben Shepherd became a permanent replacement for Yamamoto in 1990.
Todays tune "Spoonman" is a song written by frontman Chris Cornell, "Spoonman" was released on February 15, 1994 as the first single from the band's fourth studio album, Superunknown (1994). "Spoonman" is often credited as one of the songs that launched Soundgarden's career into the mainstream.
