30 Seconds to Mars - Kings and Queens

30 Seconds to Mars gounded 1998 by frontman Jared Leto and his older brother, drummer Shannon Leto, they found success in the 2000s with a mix of post-grunge, screamo, and melodic hard rock.

Jared Leto initially known for his work as an actor (most notably on the '90s TV drama My So-Called Life, as well as movies like Requiem for a Dream and Fight Club) 30 Sec recived great success with the record "A Beautiful Lie" and the convinced the bandmates to travel to serval continents to work with Jared Leto's busy acting schedule, which had filled up with roles in Panic Room, Highway, American Pyscho, and Requiem for a Dream.

Tonight 30 Seconds to Mars will play at Arenan here in Stockholm, i guess the venue is sold out since long time ago. The production that was coming was huge for the small venue as Arenan, 4 trucks, around 40 travling technicians, 30 stagehands, serval coaches and then it was set to hang around 47 points (Normal around 6-8 points) in the roof, but they cutted it down to 12. I hope it was a good show!

"The band name "30 Seconds to Mars" actually comes from a thesis that the band found online that was written by a former Harvard professor. And one of the subsections of the thesis was titled 'thirty seconds to mars [sic]' and he goes on to talk about the exponential growth of technology that relates to humans and saying that we are quite literally thirty seconds to mars. What it means to us is, we thought it best described our music, in short."

Todays tune "Kings and Queens" is taken from the bands third studio album "This Is War" released December 8, 2009.

Note: The CD booklet, as well as the promotional and digital artwork features a roaring tiger. All retail albums include varied sleeves, separate from the booklet, featuring one of the 2,000 different covers. (Puh if you are a huge fan and wants them all!)
